i was just curious. seems like tedious work. I get paid on friday and I'm buying a Woot. I'm pretty much just getting the base model AMD daw with the rackmount case and 3 GHz upgrade option.
actually i just sold a computer almost identical to that setup - exact same case, with monitor, speakers, 512mb nvidia geforce graphics card, 300 gb hd, 2 gb ram, wireless keyboard/mouse, dvd rw, amd phenom (quad) processor, hella programs etc...

i sold it for 1000 with everything that would hit u for almost twice as much if u was gettin it from there they aint even give u no monitor.

949 already made is a good deal from an established place though. they using good parts but - if u buy that make sure u upgrade that ram to 2 gb cuz thats only 1 gb ram and youll youse that up real quick i say get 4 gb so u aint gotta worry about it.

Which version of XP Pro do you guys recommend, 32bit or 64bit? I would think the 32bit version would be the most stable and have the most compatibility.

Is XP Pro even neccessary? Ain't XP Home the same ish, without all the networking features? Or is there something within the code of the OS that makes it faster and smoother than the Home edition?
No it's not.

XP Home is much better IMO. I recommend 32 BIT.
