^BUT IN SPORTS YOU CAN LOSE YOUR MONEY, YOUR HEALTH, OR EVEN YOUR LIFE. YOU gOIN' BY LABELS AND TRYIN' TO FIT IN THE MOLD. WHY WOULD I TRY TO DISRESPECT THE RAIDERS? CAUSE I'M A BRONCO FAN? I HAVE LOVE FOR THE BAY AND L.A(WHEN THE RAIDERS WE'RE THERE), AND WOULDN'T HESITATE TO PUT ON A #51 RAIDER JERSEY. IT JUST BOTHERS ME HOW PEOPLE ACT BRAINWASHED(YOU INCLUDED).

Both these teams suck...so can we let this weak ass thread die? Before anyone says shit, Raiders lost at home to the Aints...and the Broncs lost to Carson Palmer and the Bungles. Look ahead...Warriors and Nuggets.

Bengals snap losing streak against the Denver Broncos

AGENCIES , NEW YORK AND TAMPA
Wednesday, Oct 27, 2004,Page 20
Chad Johnson and Rudi Johnson both scored long touchdowns as the Cincinnati Bengals stunned the Denver Broncos 23-10 in the National Football League on Monday.

The Bengals never trailed while snapping a three-game losing streak and ending the heavily-favored Broncos' four-game winning streak in Cincinnati's first appearance on Monday Night Football since 1992.

Chad Johnson made seven catches for 149 yards to lead the Bengals offense, while Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer was 12-for-21 for 198 yards.

Rudi Johnson had 24 carries for 119 yards, including a 36-yard TD run, on the ground for the Bengals.

Reuben Droughns rushed for 110 yards on 24 carries for the Broncos, but Denver QB Jake Plummer struggled at times, going 23-for-40 for 221 yards and two interceptions.

Chad Johnson opened the scoring for the Bengals (2-4), taking a 50-yard pass from Palmer midway through the first quarter, giving his team a lead they never relinquished.

Shayne Graham made it 10-0 late in the second quarter on a 53-yard field goal, before the Broncos (5-2) got on the scoreboard less than four minutes later on a three-yard touchdown pass from Plummer to Rod Smith.

Broncos' Griffin done for the season

Englewood, CO (Sports Network) - Denver Broncos running back Quentin Griffin will miss the remainder of the season after being placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a knee injury.

Tests revealed that Griffin suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament during the second-half kickoff of Monday's 23-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Griffin, in his second season out of Oklahoma, had worked his way into the starting running back's role following the trade of Clinton Portis to Washington.

The 23-year-old Griffin began the 2004 campaign by gaining 156 yards on the ground and scoring three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) as Denver posted a 34-24 win over Kansas City.

However, he has only managed 155 yards over the last six weeks and lost his starting job to Reuben Droughns after suffering an ankle injury during an October 3 contest versus Tampa Bay.

For the season, Griffin rushed for 311 yards and two scores on 85 attempts. He becomes the second Denver running back to be placed on injured reserve this season, joining Mike Anderson, whose season ended during the fourth preseason game when he suffered two torn groin muscles in a win over the Houston Texans.
