Bret Hart / WWE Update

According to a WWE source who is close to the situation, Bret Hart has signed a short-term talent contract with WWE. Dave Meltzer is reporting that contract runs from January 1st to April 10th 2010. This means Hart could very well end up being the RAW guest host on January 4th.

When asked about the contract, Bret Hart declined to comment since he doesn't want to "lie about anything." According to Meltzer, Hart wanted to keep the signing a surprise but WWE all but confirmed he was coming back with the segment on RAW this week.

Apparently, Hart had been in talks with WWE for several months now. Meltzer is also reporting that Hart will possibly wrestle one more match and has also agreed to do a storyline based on the Montreal Screwjob. For years, Hart had been strongly against doing any type of storyline in WWE based on Montreal.

I could only see them playing out Hart vs Orton cause of the legend killer thing. I'd like to see him wrestle Undertaker or even CM Punk vs Hart would be nice...

If they do an angle about the screwjob I'm sure it will be against McMahon, don't think he will will cross paths with HBK or HHH at all cause he hates their guts and thinks they're a cancer to wrestling.

He may not wrestle though and are yall aware that wwe is working on a hart foundation(not tag team but family dvd) dvd now+. I wouldnt be surprised if Anvil dosent comeback with him.

yep as the mentor. I remember him and anvil both said they would love to be on tv with the dynasty. Its sucks taht bulldog and owen are dead or else they couldve had the best squad in wwe.


Jericho could join bret too since he was trained in the dugeon and he got issues with hbk and hhh. theres several good ways this can go. I just hope wwe dont drop the ball and fuck it up

If Bret debuts back in WWE on the 4th, it definitely wont look good for TNA...I'll still watch, but for a wrestling fan to see Bret Hart back in a WWE ring is more exciting cuz all the controversy that has surrounded everything since the screw job.

Bret probaly been cleared a ready to go bc remember before he couldnt even risk being a manager and taking a bump. shit i guess if hbk & ric flair can comeback from a broken backs, kurt and edge, beniot, austin comeback with repired broken necks. HHH & austin with metal knees. roddy piper & hacksaw jim duggan comeback from cancer I guess bret can do some light work in teh ring long as he dont get kicked or punched in the head with full force.
