Great month.

I am having a hard time believing Judah is making a come back. I think he is just trying to float around and make a living. I don't think his skills improved that much to be a belt holder.

I wonder if Rafa has enough in the tank to beat JuanMa. I'm going with JuanMa by late stoppage though. Looking forward to that fight a lot.

Also, the Pac-Marg card is solid. Pavlik getting hurt didn't surprise me, but glad they got Bam Bam Rios to fill his spot. Good move Top Rank.

I definitely wouldn't rule rafa out of the fight but juanma is pretty beastly and rafa has taken some punishment over his career. the mileage on his body has to be pretty deep.

I also think lopez by late stoppage, although I wouldn't be surprised if lopez completely blows him out in the first few rounds. nor would i be that surprised if rafa schools him. weird fight like that. all depends on what rafa has left.

I put money on Martinez a while ago when the odds were mucho better.

I have this feeling that Williams is going to be hesitant in the opening rounds ala kermit cintron style and trying to box which I think will be in martinez' favor.

ALTHOUGH

Martinez is/was 172 pounds as of yesterday (williams is already at 158). This fight is a catchweight of 157 pounds....so that could be a factor if martinez is spending his entire camp losing weight.

I think the wars that Marquez have been in actually serve him well. He won't be reckless like he has been in his career. I think he learned his lesson's in the 2nd and 3rd Vasquez fights. I think he comes out and it much sharper than people expect and breaks Juanma down with precision punching though I have a feeling he gets knocked down by a wide/wild punch for some reason.

I think Judah can be a factor against the top 140lb fighters but if he loses to one of them, he may not get another shot

Judah vs Alexander should and probably will happen regardless if alexander loses to tim bradley or not. There is already a demand for that fight in st.louis (judah ko'd the other popular stl fighter cory spinks) and I reckon that could sell 15,000-20,000 seats.

so even if judah loses I think his name value will always get him fights, as long as he's still looking good and is competitive.

I think judah is good at 140 though. I mean really, besides Kostya Tszyu, he only loses to bigger guys (clottey, cotto, floyd, Baldomir, spinks (first time)). Shit, if he stayed his entire career at 140 who knows how great he would have been. He was always too small for 147 imo.

I always thought judah was too small for 147. He did well but then all of the sudden a bunch of big welterweights came around. Before that, there were people like Spinks and Gatti which were at least manageable for judah. Then you had Baldomir, Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Cintron, Williams... those guys are really big welterweights

who do you subscribe to? You can call your provider a lot of times and subscribe to it for the night then call back and cancel it and it's pro-rated. So if it's 15 bucks a month, it'll cost you .50 to watch it for the day
