damn didnt know Johnny Tapia was still fighting, i see he fought the first time in 3 years in March. The best fight is obviously the last day of the month. lol @ David Tua, i grew up with Samoans so they use to always talk about him. I wonder if he ever improved on that stamina issue.

Tua still hits hard as hell. Rumors are if he wins, which he will, he may get it on with Chris Arreola, breh.

Here is the KO of his fight in Oct against Shane Cameron

In march I know he went 12 full rounds against Friday 'the nightmare' Ahunanya and dominated the fight, although I didn't see it:

the power comes from his damn tree trunks of legs

If he beats Monte and then Arreola, I wouldn't mind seeing him get a crack at Wlad Klitschko. Sure we've already seen him lose easily to a really tall guy before in Lennox Lewis, but still, you never know with that punching power, all it could take is one big hook to connect...

I don't remember. I just remember neither guy doing much but Lennox just jabbed mostly from the outside and Tua barely threw shit like one punch at a time no combos.

I remember his KO of Michael Moorer though, fucking guy damn near died!:

And the exact same shit against John Ruiz, he damn near died too!:

yeah really his only weaknesses were height and stamina he would also frustrate the shit out of you watching him fight cuz he wouldn't let his hands go enough

.. also I'm not understanding Donaire's management choices for his opponents these days. Marquez was soundly outboxed by Mepranum in his last fight and has never had a fight above flyweight and he's getting a crack at Donaire for his "title" in a weight class above?

Donaire is being matched terribly considering there's some good fights to be made at super flyweight ..

I agree man, I've been really disappointed with Donaire's opponents lately. For a guy ranked as high as he is (I think he's #4 on The Ring's p4p list) he needs to fight some real opponents. I mean since he knocked Vic out he hasn't really done much, while in comparison Vic has fought pretty much nothing but top quality opponents.
