yeah I just read that. Might be a case of moving a fighter too quickly, I mean a championship fight in his 9th fight. From what I read it was pretty close, the scorecards were all a point or two away and both guys got knocked down.
Campillo, from the only 2 fights I've seen of his, is a pretty slow starter. Seems like his style would it make it for a lot of his fights to be fairly close. In the fight where he won the title against Garay he was getting beat on early and came out to box Garay's ears off late. Hopefully someone puts this fight up soon.

.. also watch Jose Reyes Vs. Antonio Pitalua .. seriously.

Pretty sweet card tomorrow on HBO:

August 22
At Houston (HBO): Juan Diaz vs. Paulie Malignaggi, 10 rounds, junior welterweights; Malcolm Klassen vs. Robert Guerrero, 12 rounds, for Klassen's IBF junior lightweight title; Daniel Jacobs vs. Ishe Smith

Looking forward to see how well Jacobs does against Ishe and I hope diaz distroys the guido.

I read on Yahoo that The Ghost was up in Big Bear training with Sugar Shane. That's a pretty good card ! Good to see Jacobs staying busy.

Everyone should tune in to ESPN tomorrow for Friday Night Fights. Clinton Woods Vs. Tavoris Cloud for a vacant Light Heavyweight Title. Tavoris Cloud is a beast, he's 19-0 with 18 KO's, I'm on his bandwagon and hope he stops Woods (no easy task there even if Woods is faded).

Weights: Cloud vs Woods; Urango vs Bailey

By Mark Vester

The weights are in for Friday's big doubelheader at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. In the light heavyweight battle for the vacant IBF title, Tavoris Cloud came in at 174-pounds and Clinton Woods was 173-1/2lbs. The big co-feature saw IBF junior welterweight champion Juan Urango come in at 139lbs. Challenger Randall Bailey was half a pound more at 139-1/2lbs.

Undercard Weights

Rances Barthelemy - 130lbs. vs. Vinesah Rungea - 129-1/2lbs.

Luis Franco - 127-1/2lbs. vs. Christain Fernabdez - TBD

Joel Morales - 166-1/2lbs. vs. Robert Campbell - 168-1/2lbs.

Michael Jean Louis - 142-1/2lbs. vs. Prenice Brewer - 142-1/2lbs.

Jonathan Gonzalez - 146-1/2lbs. vs. Jason Thompson - 145-1/2lbs.

I thought Cloud was pretty impressive tonight. Over 1,000 punches, he's an animal. A little rough around the edges sometimes but he showed patience and he's got a pretty good jab too. Nearly knocked down woods a couple times too, and woods has a great chin.

I think antonio tarver would be a good step if he cant get dawson/johnson winner.
They should try to set up a fight with Mack. Mack's campaigned pretty decent at LHW, has the NABF (an offshoot of the IBF) so he should be ranked by the IBF and it's a winnable while still learning fight against a top opponent.
