I actually hope you're right on Bute Vs. Andrade. Andrade seems like a good guy and it'd be dope to see him hold a title.
Bute was winning pretty convincingly before the 12th round happened. Unless Andrade gets it cranked up a little sooner I don't see Bute making the same mistake twice. Andrade doesn't seem to be able to apply spectacular pressure against technically sound guys that don't back away from him like Kessler & Bute.
I'm thinkin Andrade knows he can hurt him and will press the action a lil sooner and get the KO. At least that's what I'm hoping, not a big fan of Bute.
And I"m looking forward to the Koki Kameda fight. I hope he wins but I think he gets KO'd.
TOKYO: Controversial Japanese boxer Koki Kameda plans to marry his childhood sweetheart if he wins the WBC flyweight title later this month.
Kameda has promised to knock out champion Daisuke Naito in three rounds in their Nov. 29 grudge fight but was unusually coy about his impending nuptials.
‘Don’t talk about that!’ Kameda told Wednesday’s Japanese media. ‘Yes I’ll settle down if I win and probably get married. Next question.’
The 35-year-old Naito insisted age would not be a factor against Kameda, who turned 23 on Tuesday.
‘I’ve put in so many miles of running,’ said Naito. ‘You worry about losing a bit of stamina at 35 but psychologically I’m younger and sharper than him.’
Naito beat Kameda’s younger brother Daiki in an ugly brawl two years ago when the challenger picked him up and slammed him to the canvas, incurring a one-year ban.
Koki, working in his brother’s corner, escaped with a ticking-off after TV microphones picked up his advice to elbow Naito in the eye.
‘I’m only worried about one thing before this fight,’ said Kameda. ‘What I’m going to eat once I’ve made the weight.’— Reuters
