It's pretty simple - there aren't many options for Ward, even if he moves up to 175.

Carl Froch
Mikkel Kessler
Edwin Rodriguez
Bernard Hopkins
Adonis Stevenson/Chad Dawson winner
Chavez Jr. (very unlikely)
Lucian Bute/Pascal winner
Tavoris Cloud

The biggest money fights for Ward are rematches between either Froch/Kessler, or Bute/Pascal winner (but they aren't fighting till the end of the year since Bute got injured).
GuY
Ward had a couple injuries, but that's not uncommon. He fought twice in 2011, beat Dawson in Sept of 2012 and injured his hand (or shoulder can't remember).

Obviously a great fighter but he's in the unfortunate situation of not having great competition around him since he beat all the top guys already.

As for Bute, a lot of the Super Six guys were mad at Bute for fighting bums while they were all fighting eachother. Ward felt like Bute didn't earn shit, which he didn't. Froch fought him because Froch was coming off a loss and it meant a lot more to Froch's career at the time.

So basically the only guys in boxing that have to move up and challenges themselves are Broner and Mayweather but the rest of boxing can stay at one division and fight rematches. It's funny the boxing fans of today. Only two guys Broner and Mayweather must only fight the top guys and move up in weight.

Actually I don't at all. I think it's you that have the reading problem. Broner TKO Demarco and guy most people said he would duck, and NO credit was giving all the so-called fans like yourself said was that he is too big for 135, and he needs to move up. He moves up to 147 to fight Paulie and guess what the fans are still whining. Mayweather is a 147lb fighter but guess what he has to give up 20 pounds to Canelo for the so called fans to be happy. Martinez, Ward, Froch, Manny, and Canelo are not forced to move up by the media and so-called fans for challenges in the ring.

Broner and Mayweather are the only two in boxing forced to move up. I can go back and post the comments after the Demarco and Ghost fight to prove my point if u would like???

Broner don't have to move up to challenge himself. He could of fought Matthysee, Garcia, or Peterson.

Why don't he fight them? And I am a broner fan

because Broner is an exception. He can drop 20 lbs, fight smaller guys, and win but Martinez and Canelo can't. But that's a fans opinion which makes them sound crazy. ALL fighters can do it, it's whether or not they agree on it. But these fans don't realize how crazy they sound.

Oh my God get broner and floyds dick out your mouth for five seconds. The discussion was about Andre Ward and his options at 168-175. Fuck is that difficult for you to comment without talking about Floyd?

Manny started at 106 pounds dumb ass he was constantly brought up to fight bigger fighters. He was barely at 135 when fans wanted a Oscar fight, just won a title at 140 and fans wanted him against Cotto, Mosley, Floyd etc.

People wanted broner to move up because he was huge which was proven by the fact he failed to make weight. He obviously out grew the division as many young fighters do.

Chavez Jr. is constantly shitted on by fans for rehydrating so much and people want him fighting the top guys at 168, so no it's not just Floyd and Broner.

Canelo can do the samething and does. Thats why he rehydrates so much on fight night. Its obvious he can drop 20 pounds with ease so thats pure bull. Got Em!!

All the guys you named already had a fight booked, and all those guys will be moving up anyway. And yes Broner would've had to moved up to 140lb from 135lb to fight those guys.

But they don't hear you because only Broner and Mayweather has to move up in weight the rest of the guys can stay in one division and fight rematches and are called top P4P fighters.

Broner missed weight at 130lb not at 135lb. After he knocked out Demarco you know the guy people said he would duck, after the win Demarco turned into a bum and Broner was too big for 135lb and NO credit was giving for the KO win.

FYI, Chavez is still at 160, but Broner and Mayweather are both moving up in weight.

Who the he'll was saying Broner would duck demarco? Demarco was nothing special. Edwin Valero made easy work of him couple years before.135 was so weak though, terrible division. Demarco got the #1 spot when he beat the overrated linares who never really beat anyone himself. You're pumping up DeMarco like he was something special. I wouldn't favor DeMarco even over guys like ricky burns or Vazquez. All them guys at 135 were and are c to b- level fighters. Only guy besides Broner who has some skills is Abril. That's not broners fault though, he made easy work and moved on.

Being scared of a fighter and being scared of not living up to shosports expectations are two different things. Do you understand that? So if he's not scared, he would have cared less about fighting Canelo cuz ppv numbers would still have sho racking in millions and he would defend his title at 154 like he's supposed to. He did the right thing by fighting Canelo, but not the way a real champ would. Just like Manny. Right?
You don't know shit about boxing. Floyd doesn't have to fight Canelo he is choosing to fight him. Do you think sho put a gun to his head and made him pick the fight? So you know the inner workings of his contract?

Yeah, and he chose to defend it at 154. Plus, when Canelo was presented his title in Mexico City, I think the WBA said they might have to strip the title from Flyd, which means he would have officially ducked Canelo.
