Boxing's Finest in the Lower Weight Division

When two of the best in boxing collides in the ring, does it really matter which weight class they are in? Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire vs Guillermo "El Chacal" Rigondeaux, a WBO/WBA unification bout in the Super Bantamweight Division is about to unfold.
Both coming off from knockout victories, both are technically skilled fighters who knows how to switch from boxing to fighting. They both have excellent amateur and professional records. As an amateur, Donaire won three national championships (National Silver Gloves-1998, National Junior Olympics-1999, National USA Tournament-2000. In 1999, he won the International Junior Olympics.
Rigondeaux from Cuba, won the gold medal in Summer Olympics back in 2000 and 2004. Rigondeaux is a 7-time Cuban national champion from 2000-2006. He holds an amateur record of nearly 400 fights - simply telling us that he is the best amateur boxer of all-time. As a professional, Guillermo is still undefeated(11-0, 8KO's, KO% 72.73 ), while Nonito holds a record of 31-1, 20 KO's, KO% 62.5.
Their fighting style and boxing skills adds more interest in this fight. Nonito can switch from Southpaw to Orthodox stance. Just like Rigondeaux, Nonito is a good counter-puncher with power on both hands. They can slug it out when they need to. The fight can end in a very unpredictable manner. It is very interesting to see who is more intelligent in the ring, who's got the better timing, who's faster and who's going to prevail.
This fight is more easier to make (TOPRANK Promotions, not needing to deal with Golden Boy Promotions to make Abner Mares fight), and yet a very significant fight for both Nonito and Guillermo. Whoever wins this fight will be considered as the "King" of the Super Bantamweight Division. Having seen how these two fighters beat their opponents in the past couple of years, we can only expect that they won't have a walk in the park to get that "W". It has to be earned by both mind and physical strength.
There was an argument on who would really pose bigger threat(Mares or Rigondeaux) to Donaire who is currently rated as one of the top pound for pound fighters in the world. After TOPRANK thrashed the $3million offer by GBP, and Mares moving up to Featherweight Class. The fight with Rigondeaux showed more light as TOPRANK is now finalizing the proposed fight.
This is boxing at its best. A fight that every boxing fans wants to see. Thanks for reading.
I cant wait for this shit!!!! needs to be a 24/7 like the ward vs dawson fight
