No I just posted proof that Mayweather agreed to all terms for that fight and Manny didn't want to sign the contract. And that's a comfirmed FACT by a third party that Mayweather agreed to all terms and Manny walked away from the fight. Again stop dicking riding Manny and try again son. LOL Manny fans always trying to rewrite facts.
Hold on. Where is the proof because I remember asking you months ago to show proof that Floyd signed the contract. Am I missing something or confused?

Sergio Martinez reveals plans for Boxing Promotional Company (plus Mayweather news)

So he was on a Spanish (from Spain) radio show just now and he mentioned he's starting his own promotional firm with his manager (Sampson Lewkowicz). He also said there's going to be a movie (or documentary?) about him.

Once again he reaffirms the negotiations with Mayweather are very advanced and concrete. He says he just has to wait one more week, but he's extremely sure the fight is going to be made.

I have no proof that Mayweather actually signed the contract, but I posted proof a year ago that the 3rd party judge stated that Mayweather agreed to all terms of the fight and Manny walked away from random testing with a 14-day no test cut-off window. That's a well docmented FACT Manny walked away from the Mayweather vs Manny fight March 2010. But yet Mayweather is ducking.. LOL..

Hershman leaves Showtime to sign on with HBO

By Chris Williams: Ken Hershman, the the executive vice president and GM of Showtime Sports, will be the replacement for Ross Greenburg for the head of sports at HBO. This means that Hershman is leaving Showtime and that’s not good for boxing fans, because Showtime was catching up to HBO ever so slightly in the recent years but mostly because of HBO’s bad habit at times of cramming bad fights and fighters down the throats of fans.

Hopefully, Hershman can set up some better fights for boxing fans and get away from having particular dull fighters shown over and over and over again when boxing fans can’t stand these particular fighters. In theory this will be a good thing, but it’s not good if Showtime is now going to sink back down and start putting on garbage fights.

There’s not a big pool of named fighters that these two networks can fight over, but they need to be better at picking out interesting would be stars and put their fights on instead of guys that just aren’t worth it. What boxing fans don’t need is Hershman putting on a fighter that is marked carefully to be a star and yet is kept away from guys that can beat him just to make the guy a PPV star. I think I’ve seen this kind of thing with HBO in the past, and it’s kind of a turn off.

Hershman did some good things at Showtime, such as the Showtime tournament which has been good and bad. It worked with the super middleweights, but seemed to fall flat when he tried it for a second time with the bantamweights. That I thought was a bad idea that should have been dismissed in the planning stages. Had I been on a board of decision making, I’d have voted that idea down. But Hershman did well with guys like IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute to show his fights on Showtime.

It’s too bad they Bute never got around to fighting anyone good, because it would have been nice to see him fight someone like Chad Dawson, Bernard Hopkins, Carl Froch or Andre Ward instead of a lot of mediocre talent in boring one-sided fights on Showtime. I would have voted against having Bute’s fights televised on Showtime if he was going to be getting nice mismatches. That was a waste and Hershman should have put his foot down on that. Clearly, Hershman did some good things but he also did a lot of stuff that wasn’t so brilliant in my view, so I’m not really thinking he’s going to be walking on water at HBO. He’s human and he does something good and other things that just make me shake my head and wonder about the guy.

We could end up seeing Hershman putting MMA stuff on HBO, because he was doing that with Showtime. I really don’t think that’s going to help boxing any because it’s going to put boxing in competition with fights that often last one a couple of minutes at best and article action packed but bloody and messy.

Manny Pacquiao MP Promotions sued by Vision quest

Sources close to the information have informed us that 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao was served with a lawsuit from his former accounting firm, VisionQwest Resources Group. "Manny was served personally," one source commented, informing us that Pacquiao himself was delivered the paperwork yesterday during a break in his training as he continues to prepare for his November 12 showdown with Juan Manuel Marquez. Evidently, both Pacquiao and his promotional company, MP Promotions, are named in the lawsuit, which was filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Back in August, Pacquiao terminated the services of VisionQwest Resources Group, the company he originally hired to review all of his business contracts dating back to 2005 to ensure that all of his accounting, both business and personal, were in order. It's a move that Michael Lodge, President & CEO of VisionQwest Resource Group, said was made due to "interference from individuals" and he promised that "our firm will deal with this issue in a legal manner under the contract laws afforded us as a business on the issue of interference in ones business."

According to a press release distributed last month, Lodge revealed, "The main reason why VQ was hired to look into the missing money was because Manny believed that his fight promoter was not paying him his fair share." Evidently, up until VisionQwest was hired in 2010, Pacquiao's taxes were handled by several different accountants who "simply plugged in numbers supplied by Michael Koncz into the taxation forms and filed them with the IRS". As Pacquiao's popularity, and more impotantly his income, continued to grow, a red flag was raised that prompted the IRS to audit his taxes for the years 2006 and 2007. At that point, Team Pacquiao reached out to VisionQwest to help resolve their tax issues, and the company quickly realized that Manny Paquiao had no true knowledge of his financial worth, missing a number of key documents, including "bout contracts, bank statements, bout proceed distributions, endorsement contracts, promoter contracts, co-promoter contracts, and property ownership records" to name a few.

At that point, the company began their investigation, agreeing not to request any fees upfront due to the fact that Pacquiao and Koncz informed them that there was a lack of funds and they would be unable to pay until they received either tax refunds or advances for future bouts. Moving forward, VisionQwest attempted to gather all the necessary documentation from Top Rank Promotions, however, what they were given was not enough to fully gain a complete understanding of revenue generated from Pacquiao's bouts. In a nutshell, Bob Arum and Top Rank became difficult to work with and "would not respond to requests for documentation and answers to questions". However, based on the limited documentation they were able to gather, VisionQwest's staff discovered "various accounting issues" and became concerned with the a number of questions that remained unanswered. They became even more concerned when they discovered "ridiculous amounts of money" being paid to Michael Koncz and, according to the press release, discovered that he was working on behalf of Top Rank, as well as Pacquiao.

Shortly after these discoveries, representatives of Top Rank no longer responded to inquiries from VisionQwest, but the company was able to gather documentation from the Nevada State Athletic commission that verified the inconsistencies in reporting. Upon presenting these findings, Pacquiao evidently became upset and informed VisionQwest that he would take the issue up with Top Rank and Michael Koncz, however, he did not want to take any legal actions prior to receiving an advance from Top Rank Promotions for his November 12 bout with Juan Manuel Marquez. As such, VisionQwest put their investigation on hold, presenting Pacquiao with a bill for the services performed thus far. They also expected to be reimbursed for money that was borrowed from them in order to purchase Michael Koncz a home in Orange County. Instead of getting paid, however, the company was later fired by Pacquiao, and they have yet to receive any payments for any of the work that they did.

Pacquiao beats up Floyd’s former sparring partner

MANILA, Philippines – Manny Pacquiao showed pinpoint precision and superior punching power against his “cocky” sparring partner, who used to be a training partner of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

African Hastings Bwalya, who apparently emulated Mayweather, went home with bloodied nose and mouth after a 2-round sparring session with Pacquiao, according to Philboxing.com.

Bwalya reportedly taunted Pacquiao in the 1st round of their session.

"He chuckled and egged on Pacquiao to mix it up," said the report written by Winchell Campos.

Pacquiao's answer was his quick hands and flawless footwork that had the African on the receiving end of heavy punches.

The 2nd round saw the Filipino trapping Bwalya in a corner, where the African absorbed more punishment.

A powerful uppercut from Pacquiao caused Bwalya’s noe and mouth to bleed.

"Are you ok?" Pacquiao was quoted as saying after he saw Bwalya in a bloody mess.

Bwalya was “reputedly a tough sparring partner” Mayweather, when the latter was preparing for a fight against Shane Mosley.

Pacquiao is preparing for a welterweight title clash against Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12.

At stake in the fight is his WBO welterweight crown.

Floyd fighting Martinez (if it really does happen, this is all Martinez talk right now) is a much gutsier move than fighting Manny. What a great fight. Easily second best option.
floyd gets huge props if he really does fight martinez, at the same time I would be very disappointed if signs to fight him without even waiting until pac-jmm iii and even attempting to negotiate.

Why should Floyd wait for Manny? Manny walked away from the fight because he refuses to submit to random drug testing. 2 years later and Manny still refuses to be randomly tested. Why should Mayweather waste his time waiting on Manny and his 10 different excuses on why he's to good to be tested. I say fight Martinez or Khan. Leave Manny to keep fighting leftovers and 38 yr old men.

I don't know if anyone remembers but about 2 weeks ago I posted how team martinez was going to make a HUGE announcement in 15 days. My assumption at the time was that he was going to challenge hopkins (if he won), because that was 15 days away that the time. So, if we believe team martinez, they've been negotiating and working on a contract with floyd for at least the past two weeks. That's crazy! Again, if true, why wouldn't he just wait a couple more weeks for pacuqiao!? I mean if he's willing to go up in weight and take on martinez, which is a huge risk, what does that say about him wanting to fight a much smaller pacquiao for more money!?

Again, this is all assuming team martinez is being honest and off the top of my head I don't see what they gain from lying but who knows. We'll just have to wait and see.

he's said time and time again he's willing to take all the drug tests and it's not even an issue. Pacquiao and bob arum are both on record saying this.

pac's fight is just around the corner. Why wait? Because it's a $50+ million dollar fight for floyd! lol. You're telling me floyd who fights once every 18 months to 2 years can't wait a couple weeks? get out of here with that stuff.

If it's true I think it speaks volumes about floyd's willingness to fight pac.

So you're accusing Mayweather of doing what Pacquiao is known for? Lol, nice try buddy. Martinez is a dangerous figther and has been winning via KO's lately.

Holla when Pacquiao fights a top contender coming off of a few wins...

So Floyd won't make $50 million or more fighting Martinez?? I bet Martinez will have no problem submitting to random testing too. There is only one problem that stands in the way of a Manny vs Mayweather fight, Manny doesn't want to submit to random testing. I don't give a shit what he said in the media, when the contract for the fight was on the table dude walked away. I said fight all the good fighters Mayweather and don't wait on anyone playing media games.

you two are missing the point. As I already stated, floyd would get BIG TIME PROPS if he fights martinez.

However, I, and I'm sure nearly everyone else, would be highly disappointed if he goes on to fight martinez without even attempting to fight pacquiao.

That's my point.

And no he wouldn't get $50+ million fighting Martinez. How much did he get against Ortiz? How many PPV's were sold against Ortiz? He would get roughly the same I'm guessing, since Martinez doesn't have a fanbase, is not mexican and isn't quite as known.

But again, like I said, major props for taking the fight (If this is even true in the first place which we still don't know) but he would still be skipping pacquiao, which obviously is the fight everyone wants.

Now if floyd waits until the pacquiao fight, attempts to negotiate and if the fight doesn't happen, fight martinez. If that were to happen, and if he wins, he would clearly overtake the #1 pound 4 pound position. But the point again is he needs to at least try to fight pacquiao, try to negotiate and see what happens.
