Maybe you're just blinded the hate you got for Floyd. We're talking about Pacquiao and his choice of opponents but here you are bringing a boxer that's currently on vacation. You talk about Floyd more than any other cat on here. If didn't want to fight Pacquiao, he would have never negotiated to fight him. All he asked for was some blood without a cut off date, and Pacquiao shot it down citing reasons like heavy training, etc... so Pacquiao moved on to fight Clottey and Floyd moved on to fight Shane.
I don't hate Floyd as a boxer. I hate him as a man. Period.

"Money" Mayweather is supposedly all about the money but yet when the biggest money makin' fight of all time presents itself he chooses to go on "vacation" or bring up some unnecessary drug test requests because he just can't believe that there is actually a boxer out there better then him. Hes a bitch in my book, he talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. That my friend is why I hate the man.

He doesn't believe that Pacquiao is doing it the natural way and would have fought him (when he had the "urge") if he was willing to prove by any means that he's doing it the natural way. Pacquiao didn't (at the time) want to prove not only to Mayweather but to the rest of the world that he's not a cheat and is not on undetectable PED's.

Pacquiao would rather fight Mayweather in court instead of the ring.

Nobody believes that is the reason Mayweather doesn't want the fight though. The only people that believe that are you Floyd nuthuggers that are in denial. This is why you guys catch so much flack on this subject. Its just an excuse that you guys WANT to believe to be true. Floyd don't want none of Manny and you motherfuckers just can't admit it. Your boy is a fuckin' coward!

End of Story.

Manny agreed to all Floyd's demands. Floyd didn't want it. Straight up. What's so hard to understand? You bring up the same shit every fucking time. Manny called his bluff and Floyd proved to be full of shit, he don't want none.

I like how Tony's time frame cuts off after the first negotiations, as if there weren't two other times to make the fight happen. The first time they couldn't agree on 5-6 days (floyd wanted a 14 day cutoff, pac wanted a 20-21). After pac agrees to floyd's 14 days and he's on vacation, ok. After that pac agrees to everything, still no floyd.

Anyways, Floyd's one real challenge at WW was Mosley, so don't act as if Floyd has some awesome resume at WW. Corrales was 11 years ago. Cool, floyd has fought 2 undefeated fighters. Bernard Hopkins has fought 9 for comparison.

And I don't know why you still bring up berto. You and like one other person were actually wanting that fight to happen. If pac KO'd Berto, people would have just called him a protected hype job (which he was) and said he should have fought JMM or mosley or bradley. Without floyd, the options are slim. No matter who he fights there could be some one better. So he's just going to fight them all. After JMM it will be bradley or ortiz.

You fools are beginning to get on my damn nerves. Manny Pacquiao didn't agree to RANDOM testing.

"All" of Floyd's demands? Or that one little demand about blood testing close to the fight?

Remember this?

LOL, Pacquiao contradicts himself. He said "not the day of" then Kenny asked about the two week cut off that Floyd offered. He got busted that's why he always says "eh eh talk to my promoter".

a video from jan 2010? you still don't get it do you? lol wow

"The drug testing was the first obstacle, then when Manny said unequivocally said that 'that's not an issue' and do any kind of testing- blood, urine, random- but Floyd keeps bringing it up like it's still an issue, but it's not an issue"

anyways, played out debate. you're in denial or something I don't know how else to explain it. Floyd isn't fighting right now, he's not interested in pacquiao. Leave it at that until he says otherwise.

The truth hurts.... Manny was looking for a way out by saying he didn't want to get tested the "day of" the fight. So Floyd said, I'll give you two weeks and Manny still turned it down. Yeah Floyd is such a coward, he didn't have to offer two weeks at all.

Judah wants 50-50 deal with Khan

By William Mackay: IBF light welterweight champion Zab Judah wants a fight on equal footing with WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan and isn’t willing to take the short end of the stick. Judah wants a 50-50 deal. Khan and his promotional company Golden Boy Promotions are reportedly offering Judah a 60-40 deal with Judah getting the small end of the purse split.

Judah, naturally, isn’t happy with that offer, as he’s the more popular fighter of the two in the United States, and that’s where their fight would be taking place. Judah says he’s okay with Khan keeping his UK pay per view money, but he just wants the U.S money to be 50-50.

I don’t blame Judah for wanting a 50-50 deal. Khan is still a virtual unknown in American and he’s got a long ways to go before he’s a star. Khan still is trying to make a name in the U.S, but he’s only had one fight that was really interesting and that was against Marcos Maidana. Khan almost got knocked out in that fight, and failed to impress American fans with that performance. He won the fight, but it’s hard to impress when you’re running, holding and getting staggered the way Khan was. It’s unclear if Judah will take slightly less than a 50-50 deal,

Khan plans on fighting on July 23 in the U.S and he needs a notable fighter like Judah to help make the fight a success. Khan already used up a title defense in his last fight taking on a no-name opponent Paul McCloskey. This time, Khan has pressure on him to fight a live body and not another obscure opponent with zero power. Sky Box Office wanted no part of the Khan-McCloskey mismatch, and moved the fight – or at least tried to – from PPV to Sky 3. However, Khan then moved the fight from Sky to Primetime. As such, Khan fought a guy that only UK fans were familiar with and the fight was horrible.

More than likely, Khan won’t end up fighting Judah. We’ll probably see Khan fight a fellow Golden Boy fighter like Erik Morales or Robert Guerrero. However, if Khan fights Morales, he’ll still likely be stuck with a 50-50 deal if he’s lucky. Can you imagine a big star like Morales accepting less than an even split with a young upstart like Khan? Morales has captured multiple world title, whereas Khan has only captured one and he may not ever get another. You never know. If Timothy Bradley beats him and Judah knocks Khan cold, who will Khan be able to pick out to get a title? There’s nothing but solid fighters at light welterweight. Khan doesn’t have a weak champion like Andriy Kotelnik to go after and get an easy belt. At the end of the day, I think Judah is considered too dangerous for Khan and I don’t believe they are serious about wanting to negotiate with Judah. I see this as a situation where they’re using his name to get more publicity for Khan in the U.S the easy way. Judah hits too hard and would be too much of a threat to end the Khan gravy train before it gets started. Believe me, Khan’s next opponent will be a light puncher like Morales or a non-light welterweight like Guerrero.

and even if atlas is right is that the time to debate on which era of boxing is better? hopkins was the guest on the show, just give him his props for his historic win, admit you were wrong, and leave it like that. atlas basically was saying the only reason hopkins is winning is because everyone sucks now lol. hopkins would have been good in any era in boxing, any. he could have been in the mix with hagler, hearns, leonard, duran, benetiz, or fighting tough with ray robinson at MW, or Monzon, etc. I don't think there is anyone in boxing history who would have blown hopkins away, he would have been competitive with anyone.
