actually i was seriously JUST thinking about looking for a good book on the subject of american narcissism and elitism, and was going to ask some people. that shits kind of eerie when you think about it... especially after youve been thinking a lot about the law of attraction...

American Psycho by Bret Ellis is a fun and often hilarious read. The book is a whole different experience that the movie isn't, the movie never did the book justice.
