Anybody heard of these group? My cousin recommended that i check them out, but wasn't sure which albums i should get.

Blonde redhead guess you should check out their latest album 23 but I don't like it as much as their older albums...i recommend these albums from them: Misery is A Butterfly, Blonde Redhead, La Mia Vita Violenta

Shiny Toy Guns fucking suck IMO.

Blonde Redhead on the other hand are fucking awesome. If you are just a casual listener of "rock" music I don't know if you'd enjoy them much as they are pretty damn different then your normal bands.

Anyways, from them I'd check out Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons and then their newest one called 23. Those are my two favorites but then again I own and really like their whole catalog in general.

lol @ us recommending different ablums as our favorites. I mean you did recommend 23 but said you didn't like it as much as their older stuff but personally I think 23 is fucking awesome.

Well I guess it just shows how good of a band they are if we just more or less recommended their whole catalog between the two of us hahaha.

Speaking of bands lead by asian chicks are you a fan of Deerhoof at all Dhadnot?

I like melodie citronique and melody of certain damaged lemons (but I like their whole catalog), but those are albums I felt the new listener would like the most -could be wrong. Yeah, I like Deerhoof -saw them in B-more- and I like Little Dragon (another group with an Asian female lead).

right on for the opinions & recommendations tho. i always like listening to different shit other than rap.

tricky, mandaly, sneakerpimps, hooverphonic... I don't listen to too much trip hop type of stuff. did you get the latest portishead?
