The ridiculous price doesn't matter as long as there is a best offer. I've gotten a lot of solid offers and sold a lot of my collection. Since ebay doesn't charge unless something is sold, I am patient.

I think I will have to try this rout tonight or tomorrow, and throw up a few others for auction. It is better than having good items sell for too damn low

Buyer bought over $1,000 worth of CD's from me outside of eBay and 3 months later he calls his bank and tells them i sent him an empty package. they then opened a chargeback dispute through PayPal to get him his money back

Something similar going on, but I sent it registered and it shows it cleared customs. So the issue will be between them and customs.

@Mr.HydroSTL i shipped Express Mail and the USPS website shows that the package got delivered. this is hella bullshit because the package got delivered Sep 25, 2013 (over 3 months ago) and he wants to now claim i sent him an empty package.

on top of that, it's not up to PayPal to decide who wins this dispute because he's complaining to his bank about it and the bank is trying to get the money from paypal...as a result paypal is holding over $1,000 from my account until the bank decides which side to take

@lifesourcerec i hope we win these cases, you might have a better chance than me since paypal is the one handling your case. not sure what this Korean bank is gonna decide

That's why I never leave money in PayPal. I pay shipping, pay ebay, then clear out money. I keep scans of everything I sell until positive feedback is given.

its gotta be signed for regardless of the service used....tracking will not cut it.....if the transaction goes over 250 its mandatory....

it's crazy what people can get away with now. i can go on a shopping spree on ebay and claim i got an empty box and my bank will probably take my side.

@lifesourcerec , even if i didn't have money in my paypal account. my paypal account will be negative and future payments i get from other buyers will just go towards what i owe

@basment-music i think banks will always take their customer's side 90% of the time. i feel like i already lost this case. Probably gonna start going old school and ask for money orders for all international buyers

My case was in the US. Luckily I still had all my emails from our back and forth where they said they got everything and were happy. I literally had the bank calling me. It was bullshit.

well hopefully i still have a chance they take my side. his bank might wonder why it took him over 3 months to do this. especially when it involves over $1,000...when you have that much money invested in an order and there's a problem, you would think he would have called them the same day he got his package 3+ months ago and let them know about the situation.

i think he has "buyer's remorse" and it's been killing him that he spent so much and he's just trying to get his money back. that bastard

That's another crazy story, I hope you win the case. Isn't there a weight ammount on the customs paperwork or somewhere.. ? And yea 3 months delay before asking a refund is just too much lol seriouslsy his bank SHOULD side with you. And normally ... isn't it too late to ask for refund after 45 days on paypal ?

M @Mal yeah it was too late for him to open a case through eBay so he went straight to his bank to complain. The bank reversed the payment and took the funds away from Paypal resulting in a charge back where Paypal put a hold on my account. And yes, i do have the shipping receipt that shows the package weighing almost 2 pounds. I sent that as proof to his bank and they are still trying to make a final decision. Paypal says it could take up to 75 days and so far it's been a few weeks since I submitted the scans/info. I'll come back and let y'all know what happens, but in the mean time y'all should add this dude to your blocked bidders list
