here's what latter day saints believe, yall may agree or not agree. Everyone is ressurected, good, and bad. We came to earth to forget the perfection we lived with god in the pre-existance as spiritual children of his. On earth, we are TRULY free, because we can choose good, or bad... before, with him, we knew of his perfection, and would never choose bad, so therefore we could not grow, since we weren't free. Our father wants us to be like him, so he sent us to earth, to forget him, and find our way back. He also sent the holy ghost to give us a conscience, and to lead us along the path back to him, all the while leaving us free to choose good, or bad, at every turn.
The only way back to him is through Jesus Christ, who atoned for all the sins each of us committed, or ever will commit. If you don't accept Jesus in this lifetime, you will be given a second chance after your death, as a spirit. After death, your mind will be clearer, because you won't be tempted by the world, or even on it anymore. So, even if someone has never HEARD of Jesus Christ, they can still go to heaven. If someone actively refused Christ on earth, knowing in their heart Christ was the savior, they get no second chance.
That's why god doesn't walk among us, becuase it would defeat the whole purpose of allowing us to choose good vs. evil. What idiot wouldn't choose good, if they MET god face to face? That's also why you have a thousand different churches, people believe their heart, not what some preacher tells them. I'm not gonna convert anybody by telling you all this, because it's not YOUR experience, you're not gonna listen to me. And that's the case with every church on the face of the earth. God will NEVER allow his existence to be scientifically proven, because that again would defeat Faith. You must have faith in him, before he will prove himself to you. I'm sure all the religious cats like Heresy and others on here will tell you, once you have faith in the lord, with no proof, he will testify to you that him, and his son both exist. It's backwards, but that's the whole deal with faith.
I have scriptural references to back this up, but most of them are from the book of mormon, which most if not all of you would summarily reject. Peace~
