so i was excited and ready to copp my droid today and shit, already choosing the case and getting the dock for it and all that bullshit, and verizon dude was like "you got you're dare in august 2008, so you're not eligible to upgrade phones until april." and i was like well what if i renew the contract so i can get it today because we've done that in the past, and in the end, imma have to wait until april but hopefully the phone fillyacup mentioned is out by then, but for sure im not getting the storm the browser lags like a muhfucka, and it doesnt have as many apps as the droid does, hopefully i dont blow the money on paint and dank haha

My charger just broke and rather get a new phone then buy another charger. glad this thread was made, definitely gonna get a Droid

well i can't speak too much on the droid but i've had the BB storm 1 for about 3 months and being an artist who needs to network online via myspace, twitter, facebook, youtube, etc its been great. The touchscreen keyboard takes a couple weeks to get used to but after that it's smooth sailing. This BB is perfect for me networking and sending emails. I've heard alot of good things about the Droid but only played wit it 4 a couple of mins at the Verizon stores so can't give legit feedback on it. Also on the BB, the instant messenger is very handy if the person u tryna contact has a BB as well, which most people i've dealt with music-wise do have. Hope this helps in any way.

right on, got until april to decide anyway and see if the rumors about the iphone's contract with at&t terminating and verizon is supposedly gonna carry the iphone in the near future, dont know if its true or not tho...
