Blackberry Messenger Anyone?

Exactly....getting a Blackberry without the plan is like having a Corvette with a 4 cylinder in it

All show and no GO!!!! Lol but really though we ALWAYS get a grip of wanna be ballerz that want to get data devices.....but without data.

what's the point of havin a blackberry and not getting the data plan?...there's better phones and ways to text.

when it's 30 bucks w/ no contract, i can't complain

With ATT you do not need to get a data plan if your are buying one brand new, if you don't buy a data package, then you wont get back the $100 or $50 mail in rebate ( depending if you buy the curve or pearl ).

You do not need a data plan to send a MMS message either. See below.

You can't use pay per use internet on the Blackberry, thus you can't send MMS unless you have a data plan...

^very true. its not the type of phone to be cheap with, you can get a krazr or something for that. pay the 30-40 extra a month and get full use of it

Sling Box coming to a blackberry near you mofos! I can't wait for OS 4.3 for us 88xx users for streaming to do slingbox. I'll be watching basketball, baseball and then football at work.
