From what i understand popper will be on stage with Tech at Summer Jam right? I mean this is going to be an event that is featuring National Artists in the same venue...not only is Tech getting his shine but everyone that shares the stage with him that night will get some shine to. Tech is doing shit for the artists of KC that so far no one else can or is doing...showing a little hometown love...plus he still reps KC EVERYWHERE he goes

All Tech said was "Don't be jeffin' with me Mr. Jefferson." There's lots of people with the last name Jefferson. I'm wondering why Black Walt feels like Tech was takin' a shot at him.

It'd be different if Tech said dudes full name or even his stage name. Okay, so he said Mr. Jefferson. How are we supposed to know that its Black Walt he's refering to?

thank you! get the fuck outta here with sayin tech fans dont know about other kc artist. Haha...like we aint in the town.

How many people from Georgia, Connecticut, and New Zealand (just to name a few) would have heard of Ron Ron or Popper or Cash Image (should i go on?) if it wasnt for tech.....next!
Thats funny how you say that, because I was just on rapkc.com and i saw Ron Ron up there but need to know if it's going to get to me in a reasonable amount of time. I got G-14 classified and that shit took over a month. Anyways KC artists get love from me and I try and spread that shit all over here.

I agree with this.

I would know NOTHING about any of the other Kansas City artists, had it not been for Tech. And that's not my fault.
We don't have 7th Heaven's or whatever here. I have to go by what I know.
I knew about Tech N9ne, he featured some peoples, and got me interested.

What does Kansas City's King of Rap do for Kansas City???? After achieving over 1 million sales under the Strange Music Imprint, what has Tech N9ne gave bacc 2 the community of Kansas City, Missouri????????????? OutSide of his usual sideKiKcs of Krizz KaliKo, Travis OG, and other local artists, what has Strange Music contributed to the Kansas City Indie Music Scene????
T9 has the most loyal, die hard fans of any artists from Kansas City. However, there is a slew of local artists making good music and politically positioning themselves, JUST IN CASE, sum of T9 loyal fans open up to other Kansas City artists, since he has broke down the national door independently and brought sum attention and recognition for Kansas City music.......
I really wish you would make up your mind on where you want to stand when it comes to Tech...

Tru story, I've had some bad experiences with certain internet sites and just wanted to make sure this one is legit to order from, i'm assuming someone here has ordered just wanna make sure there is no problems before I order. Still don't understand why Popper isn't up there.

real spit

NOBODY including myself, would have known or been familiar with the local talent that's been featured if it wasn't for TECH...

I'm sure as hell NOBODY ELSE where I reside in Melbourne, Australia would know who these cats were if it wasn't for TECH putting them on. period.

with that said, TECH is the only one in KC that has proved to have a national AND international reach

mocheez is a magazine correct? is it pretty popular in kc? sorry for my ignorance but ive never heard of it until recently
"History of MoCheez Magazine"

MoCheez Magazine was first published 11 years ago in the summer of 1998. An up and coming rapper named Tech N9ne was featured on the cover of the Premiere issue of MoCheez. Four other issues of MoCheez were also published that featured on the cover, DJ Fresh, Eddie Griffin, Vell Bakardy, Court Dog & Cisco, Rich the Factor, and finally Nelly.

The mission of MoCheez magazine was to give regional exposure to Independent Hip-Hop artists from the MidWest. Most of the print media at the time catered to East or West coast artists, MoCheez was created to cater to MidWest music. Kansas City was the launch city, however it was also distributed in St. Louis, and was going to eventually cater to the Chicago market.

The last issue came out in 2001 (8 years ago). Murder Dog Magazine did a special feature on Kansas City, that was coordinated by MoCheez mag and at the same time Nelly unexpectedly and surprisingly went platinum. Those events led to a working partnership between MoCheez mag and Murder Dog mag and Nelly's first National Magazine cover was with Murder Dog, after he was featured on MoCheez.

MoCheez ceased publishing after that, and began a music label venture that produced compilations and solo albums. The most successful being the Murder Dog Presents KC compilation (which featured "Kansas City King" by T9) and the introduction of two up and coming artists Young Kev and WesCrook.

Now it's 2009 and after an 8 year hiatus MoCheez magazine is poised to reestablish itself as a bridge for up and coming artists to the mainstream public. With all the advantages of the internet technology that wasn't available, MoCheez will launch from the world wide web, before it returns to being the "Hip-Hop source for the MidWest underground".
