The only thing I don't like about the game is the absolute lack of cut scenes. I've never played a game (in this generation) that relied only on verbal story telling. It's a good game, but I'm hard pressed to play it again. Literally the 17 hours on the time clock I've racked up is ALL gameplay. I'm not really bitching because I hate games with too many cut scenes, but I do need a little filler to allow my violent side a little relaxation.

Fontaine and Ryan are two different people. Fontaine is an "outside world" smuggler, hence the mass amounts of booze, bibles, and crucifixes you find throughout the game. Ryan is the guy that started the city. Fontaine is the guy that thought Ryan was abusing his power and thus became a much larger beast than Ryan himself. Ryan slept with a hooker and your character (Jack) is the love child. Fontaine and the Australian female doctor sent you to the real world to escape the terrible world. Your character is actually only 12 years old, but because of the plasmids you've developed much faster. It's hard to understand if you don't stay on top of finding the radio diaries. They explain EVERYTHING that the game pertains to, which goes back to my post about no dialog-filled cutscenes.

Yeah it was. Fontaine had the plane sabotaged to bring your character back, although Ryan believed it to be he that brought the boy back. Ryan wanted closure on what he did, and Fontaine saw an opportunity to rid Rapture of Ryan via the mind control he has on you from the plasmids. I didn't even take the game seriously until I figure out that all the info I got was coming from those tapes, which means I missed the first half of the game. I really have quite a few problems with this game more as I play through the second time.
Bioshock for PS3 comes out in October. It's got new content added to it and a whole new level. They say it should be available as DLC for the 360 shortly after its release on PS3. But others say otherwise so who knows. Bioshock 2 is in the making and so is the movie. Hope they don't fuck that up. Gore Verbinski, director of Pirates of the Caribbean, is going to be the director for Bioshock: The Movie.
