as if record sales have anything to do with the quality of music, what a ignorant waste of life.
i feel what your saying,

shit gets anoying after a while, hearing about sells like it matters,

but i guess its a cheap opportunity to ridicule any musician

edit

U say Nas is dumb but in other threads said Soulja Boy is a smart kid. Okay buddy.

Nas won't get invited to O'Riellys show cuz O'Rielly don't want intelligent rappers on his show. He wants dumb ass niggaz like Cam'ron so he can pick them apart.
Nas is smart but dumb

O'reilly should get smart people like Ice cube

unlike Dead Prez who got verbally mollywhooped,

most of these studio "smart rappers" are idiots outside the mic

I was watching Nas on the Colbert Report.

Nas isn't dumb

He just has a problem articulating his thoughts verbally.

I'm the same way. Sometimes I'll be missing thoughts and using half sentences or saying some outlandish retarded sounding shit, but if I have a moment to think I can do a lot better.

I've never turned in a paper in college that's gotten less than a B, from Journalism to History to Human Sexuality. But it doesn't make me a good public speaker. That's all Nas' problem is.

This is suspect. I don't ever remember seeing Dead Prez on the O'Reilly Factor. I even searched it online, and found nothing. So do you care to enlighten me, or atleast provide a link or something? I'm curious, I want to know what happened. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to see any "gangster rapper" on the O'Reilly factor. I would prefer to see someone like KRS-ONE, Mos Def, Common, The Roots, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez or any other conscious rapper. 2Pac was another who could hold it down on the show, although considered by some to be a gangsta rapper, he focused on alot of political and social issues in depth. His lyrics went beyond the typical "Fuck America, they invented Aids and are responsible for the crack epidemic" that's so commonly heard today.
