Yung-G, I feel you when you say that if the Game's style is his original style and sounds eastcoast then you can't criticise the guy for changing his style to sell records since he hasn't but really, if the guys style is eastcoast then isn't it bullshit that becase of this he is selling.
I mean whats to stop everyone changing there flow to follow the less complex flow out the east to sell records or more importantly whats to stop all these young rappers coming up out the west like the Game trying to sound eastcoast. I mean this to me looks like a case of a rapper from the west who sounds more east than most who is selling because of it and I suppose good luck to the guy, get them dollars. It makes me think though that the majority of the rappers in the west should change their style for sales.
Must be tough knowing that if you switch up your style you can get big bucks...
As a consumer I obviously don't want to see that happen. I suppose there is a niche there and someone will always fill it.
