Big Rich Video, not direction we needed to go in

I saw the BIg Rich video on 106 and playground the other day and I have to say I was very dissapointed that this was a song and video that is gonna help us reach the masses. To the mainstream you need a good hook and that hook he had on his song was terrible. This would have been an excellent time for 40 to really back someone like san quinn who is established and is comfortable with his rap style and has mainstream quailty rap. We just need to pick carefully, we only get so many chances to really show the people in the world what the bay has to offer. Lets not waste it!!!!!

Everyone is intittled to an opinion...and my opinion is that your words make no damn since. This is EXACTLY what the Bay needs. We look like fucking clowns with the giant glasses, stupid words and terrible rap songs to the rest of America and to most of the Bay. This is a clear video, solid rapping, great production and the best part is that he didn't act hella stupid to get there. This is more representing the Bay than Hyphy IMO. Most Bay cats don't ghostride whips and shake they dreads. They some regular hustlin dudes trying to make it happen.

Gimmicky hyphy music? Niggas that's alll Big Rich is doing is piggy backing off the hyphy movement, he's a nobody with out the hyphy movement.. All that fake ass wanna-be mob shit is gay now a days, ain't none of these rap niggas hard.. The video was nice but shit, E-40 presents it, EA-SKi did the beat, how in the fuck can you hate on hyphy? Niggas like Big Rich, and a lot of other so-called mob rappers from the Bay just be tryna use the movement to get a name, coz I never really felt Big Rich's shit either to be honest, cuz is borderline wack with the rhymes.
