Paying students would unleash pandora's box on so many levels. For one, its no secret that there are shady doing when it comes to star players...who knows what repercussions could come down by boosters ans agents if EVERYONE gets a cut regardless.

You get 85 schollies for your team.id say 55 of them are getting perks like the popular "payed to do nothing" job.I got a handful of friends who had full rides, none with any nfl talent..every one of them had THAT JOB..work a golf course, detail cars..all bullshit.fact is,if your in the 2 deeps, boosters know who you are.im not sayin all these guys get new cars an shit, but they get perks if they want them imo.
i see, but oh well i dont see a problem with it when the big cats are rolling in dough and talking out the side of their necks about integrity and all that other bullshit. save it. if these kids can make money let them. what are they going to do? corrupt the college athletic world? LMAO.

way too late for that.

its already corrupt so if its going to be corrupted, the people providing the means for corruption should be paid.

But they are recieving a "football" SCHOLARSHIP,which provides schooling to the football player for FREE.That same education is being payed for by the kids who dont recieve a football scholarship. So basically they have been givin a 100,000$ check to play football.

If they think their worth more, find a better gig.

OK, well if that is the case, then why bother even enrolling them in school? Why not just have them play football, and nothing else? I mean, whats the point...right? OHHH thats right, becuase only about 15% of all college football players actually MAKE IT to the NFL. So what do you do with the other 85% of those kids?

See how this isnt going to work?

well if they arent going to pay them, they need to stop being so damn investigative about the shit looking for every bit of impropriety. its funny hearing people talk as if college football is some pristine operation they are trying to keep from corruption lmao

How bout instead of paying the players, who are getting a free education already, they take all the money they're making from sports and use it to lower tuition? I owe like $200,000 in loans and I'm pretty sure Larry Fitzgerald is already better off than anybody else I graduated with.
