I myself am not a fan, but she has many and some find her music to be rich in whatever "substance" they are looking for. Yes, the video is sexy and she is a fine ass broad with a bangin body....she's doing what a lot of other talented women are doing...capitalizing on the fact that sex and image does sell. But to insinuate that she has zero talent and relies only on looks to sell her records is an insult to the fact that she does in fact write her own music. And she can actually carry a tune. Britney Spears on the other hand writes and produces almost zero of her material and has zero vocal talent, so I think this assertion would be more appropriate in her case. I do think Beyonce dresses a bit scantily but that is just the norm and you're right...shallow muh fuckaz maybe wouldn't buy her shit if she didn't....but that's what a man's world creates...the objectification and oversexualization of women. Especially black females.

I don't think anyone is saying she doesn't have "talent" but the thing is she wasn't lookin like a slut in Destiny Child videos now on her shit she is. Look at Jewel, she do the same shit now too. I think she is both talented and sexy. You can be both. She writes and arranges the majority of her music and did so with Destiny's Child. If you don't like the music, that's cool...but you can't knock her skills just because she has mass appeal. That's not fair.
