I have to give Yasunori Mitsuda serious recognition for composing the music to Chrono Cross. It'ls really laid back and lazy, and has a lot of celtic touches.

Any other OSTs worth mentioning?

Completely forgot about donkey kong, now that was some stuff back then. Parasite Eve had some great music especially the intro. But then, Xenogears is probably my second favorite in terms of music. Just bought the osts for xenogears and chrono cross for 50+ bucks...oh well, they'll be worth it.

Haha, seems like the old gen systems had the best music. I'm not seeing any nu-age game scores being mentioned. Oh and just checked the chrono trigger soundtrack again, yeah, I see why a lot of you mentioned it, compared to chrono cross it's more epic-ish.
