what's the better alternative?

Well I've paid rapidshare for an entire year. I use to pay month by month when I didn't have the money.

But I got rapidshare search on my computer, I have a couple of rapidshare based linking forums. I usually just go to the forums and check out to see what they have.

Any new applications, Movies, Music, HD Movies, anything that's in a television series, or complete TV show seasons. E-Books, sports events, sports entertainment events, Porn & Hentai.

It's all there and categorized. If I can't find what I need on the forums. I just use rapidshare search, and it will look everywhere, places that I haven't looked.

I have this app I got from rapidshare called IDM [Internet Download Manager] and it makes it possible to download at 2 MB per second. So I just get whatever I need, and that 2 MB connection is guaranteed from rapidshare. I don't rely on seeders. I don't have to give anybody any shit back. I just have it.

All the torrent sites I use always have seeders. I don't use public torrent sites which are shit, all are private. I want a new movie, it will be downloaded in 15 minutes. Uploading is not a problem, my computer is on 24/7 and I only seed when I sleep at night.

Quality is also very important to me. I know on the sites I go are always high quality. For movies always have screen shots, etc.

It's cool though I'm not knocking what you're doing, I just don't see how paying is a better alternative to free.

invite only sites. Meaning a member from the site must invite you to get in. You cant just go to the website and sign up. This keeps it a private community, rather then a public one that can be monitored or tracked.

Well I'm not really in any private torrent sites, just one. I joined before they went all private and starting putting limits. But yeah, not knockin' what you're doing either. Rapidshare pays me back a million fold, that's only reason why I use it in the first place.

I never used demonoid before...i use torrentleech which imo is the best for movies/apps and a couple others. For general music I use waffles or for browsing new music I use filemp3. I don't download much music these days and 90% of the music I do listen to is reggae so that might be a factor.

Yeah, I don't really need music either. But there's one website I do like to visit if I need music.

^^^all rapidshare downloads, and every album or song has to be 320kbps high quality. Most of the uploaders rip it from the CD at 320kbps themselves, label the song with the all the information, and upload music album by album. They only make quality exceptions for hard to find music, and they have every genre.

When I was on torrents, it was hard to find things... so that's another reason why I switched. Availability. Time=Money

These right here Mr. Rictus. And LOL@ getting popped for torrents. Yeah maybe if you use public torrent sites like the piratesbay or whatever. Invite only is the only way to go.

Private torrent sites have nothign to do with people getting popped. Because it is peer-to-peer, they track the IP's...if they cant find the torrents sites, they will find YOURS. There are ways to MASK your IP while doing so, like using proxies or firewalls. BUt whether the site is private or piblic, that has zero to do with YOU.
