ja rule is sorry, i have never liked him. although, i must admit, they have old school at noon on a radio station here in NY, and they played this old ass song by ja rule, the beat was way tight and the lyrics were hard too, but that is the only song i have ever heard like that from him.
on that backstage video, there are a few interviews with just ja rule, and you can tell, he wanted to be pac so badly. he mentions tupac more than a few times on there, plus when he came out, he was really trying to be just like pac, maybe y'all remember. he has actually toned it down alot from what it used to be.
funny side note about this
i went to an ashanti concert thursday night cause military got in free cause it was in the town she grew up in or some shit, but anyways, i heard ja rule might show up to that shit, i wanted to clown him so hard if he was there, but he never showed up. but anyways, they had news coverage all over that shit, and they were interviewing these broads next to me about why they came to the concert. about half way through, i just started sayin "50 cent stole ja's chain!!!!!!" i said it like 8-10 times, people were laughing hella hard about that shit. if you didn't know, supposedly, the cross that 50 cent wears with the diamonds is ja rule's. 50 cent says he jacked it from him, lol. by the way, ashanti was looking way good!!!!! i was like 3 people from the stage cause it was a small concert, like less than 1000 people, i'll post some pics up if i get em developed.
suge and ja are close i guess. murder inc. did get raided for a connection to a druglord in the queens area. i want to say his name was like "king tut" or some shit, can't really remember. i think ja mentions his name on some songs. fed's thought that murder inc. got funded by that guy when they started the label. The Row also got raided around the same time, nothing happened out of either raid i am pretty sure. i think master p went through this a long while ago but he never was raided. i think it was like a big investigation though. it's his own fault though, he said he was moving major numbers before he got in the game, then all of the sudden he has the funding for a label. that's what they get though.
anyone ever wonder why no one ever talks shit on p. diddy???? he is the squarest dood ever yet tries to act hard. i have heard that he has major ties to the mobb in new york somehow. that's why no one will step to him.
