yea your right as for now or at least in the late 90s,but if you ever heard that underground tape that came out in the late 80s early 90s,blood was bangin on all crips and giving it up for treetop pirus,all the skyline homies had a copy of this,and then 2nd 2 none came out and i remember them saying in one of there songs tossing up the sign with three fingers out,meaning the piru sign,this is when d.j quick was banging,any one can tell you this about this particular underground song.and i still remember him on that old ass hip-hop show called pump it up, with host d-barnes the one whos married to ricky harris from longbeach,interviewing d.j quick asking him about this underground songs he produced bangin on crips,and even then on the show he was repping the pirus from compton,and bangin on crips on this show,i will never forget that,but of course now he grew up and donot represent that shit in that way,but he will let you know if anything keep the "p" in it in variuos songs and subliminally giving it up for piru.
yeah in in interview,cause the person interviewing stated that there was an uncertainty whether or not he banged cause he had said some things in the past and some songs make it seem somethin else he clarified it tha he never banged.The worst thing is we on here interested wether someone reaLLY BANGED OR NOT who really cares as long as his real talent is recognized
