THIS HAS GOT TO BE THEE MOST EMBARRASSING POLL / THREAD THAT I HAVE READ BASED ON DAMU / PIRU RAPPERS. MORE THAN HALF OF YOU KNOW DONT WHO IS AND WHO NOT FROM WHERE......THAT GOES TO SHOW HOW INFATUATED U ARE IN THE MUSIC......THE IMAGE.....AND NOT THE THE REALNESS OF THAT PERSON.THATS WHY STUDIO BANGIN IS A WELL PAID JOB. I'd have to disagree with this one, but I respect your opinion. This is mine. Redrum was on that Piru Love and a lot of his other shit is official. You must not heard a lot of his tracks. A wax be gassin, but Rum is a beast in this music shit and is a real and respected Piru in the streets vs. the siccness.
idk especially in l.a. who is from where all like that but some of the artist i listen to in my city are Big June, Stormin Stakk, Oliver Resse, Sonny Bo, Lil 8 Ball, Mak 90, YD, N.F.L., Rey Ru, Boss Man Hogg and Shuga..that's my top 10 + 1I'm sure there's lots more i havent got a bar of yet..puttin who i think is the best i dont really think in those terms each one of those artist got smashin ass tracks and different styles to me.. never heard any of AWAX music but RedRum 781 got that heatrock and the reputable to back up everything he ever says on the mic

There is no need to pit artists against artists...they all got there own lanes, A-WAX is a newer emulation of what was laid down by legends like REDRUM B-BRAZY DJ QUIK etc....so even though I appreciate when someone bigs up Wax, its not necessary to try to make any one artist be better than others. Bandana Tha Ragg, U-Dawg, Big June, Beta Boss, 211, Tiny Doo, Hootie etc. there are plenty of dope Mu and Ru rappers but I dont think there should be any seperation and there certainly shouldnt be any rappers who wants to be known as JUST a damu or piru artist....
As for who laid it down first with the BIGGEST emphasis on this PIRU and DAMU shit was OYG REDRUM 781...
