I don't like to compare heaths jokers to the rest because all the other jokers are based of the silly comic book joker, not the darker joker of Frank miller and Christopher Nolan.

I don't think Heath made the character...I think this charatcer was born out of a great script for the part and also great directing. I believe others could do just as good if not better in this role with same script and directing. Christian Slater would kill this role, Johnny Depp would kill it, someone like leonardo Dicaprio would kill it. So yes heath did gret but thank the script and directing for that!

i think jack was a better joker based on the simple fact that the older batman movie wasn't as dark. but if it were then jack would definately pull it off.easily. and i have a lot of friends sayin that whole jonny depp talk about him steppin in and the problem with that is he wouldn't be as perverse lookin and psycho driven as heath made him look. johnny would take him a step back not forward.
