The thread starter beat me to it....lol...I own this on DVD and prolly the most underrated sports movie ever....What I also like is they didn't have the niggaz on there acting like white boys...lol....This shit is way better then that overrated ass Any Given Sunday.....James Caan was also great in this movie

That linebacker Alvin Mack was by far the most interesting character in the movie....That crazy ass steroid using white boy was also hilarious...I remember after that movie came out my homeboy was like " I hope they make a part 2 of the Program where that linebacker makes a come back".....lol....The Qb Joe Kane was boring to watch...lol.

They edit a few parts out the movie though cuz there was a scene they showed in the theatres where they were laying down iin the middle of the street in the middle of traffic...Some kids actually tried that and were ran over and killed.

I'm glad to see The Program getting some love in here cuz i love that shit and it don't even get mentioned when talking about great sports movies.
