My favorite has been the same for many years... the one and only DJ Premier from GangStarr.


Other favs are:

Alchemist- I know he is from L.A. but most of his production has been for East coast cats so I feel he should be named

Just Blaze- the man got some hot ass beats

Havoc of Mobb Deep- One of the best in the biz

Large Proffesor- Has made dope ass beats for both old school mc's and new alike

There a lot more east coast producers making noise but these cats are at the top of the pack IMO.

he came up under DJ Muggs and the Soul Assasins and does a lot of work with Mobb Deep and Infamous Mobb and of course the Soul Assasins...that fool is heavily underrated and is one of the best producers in the game...1
