i liked crip hop better than take a ride and i had take a ride on cassette and the dub of sherm stick way before the album
and i liked the leery gang album more than mental scars (5 mc's on one cd)
my favorite sd cds are:

yeah that big june "flamed up" and that r beta & macnificent "overhated & underrated" should be on that list.. those is two dago classics that u definitely had slept on.. the flamed up was classic big june with the hottest production ever, and the beta and macnificent was one of the first to show that dago was fuckin with sacramento and bay area kings of rap, showing we connected in this west coast music.. and they held they own throughout the whole album.. shit since we naming albums that shoulda been on there, u can throw sidewayz "the komp" on there too.. that had errybody on there when they was young and hungry, frum all the sidaz to irocc and smigg..
How come when a thread is started about the best of..it always gets around to having include every c.d and tape ever made..haha....Damn lets keep it real...I have almost every c.d mentioned, and to be honest besides Jay-o felony most albums put out in San Diego are just a few tracks strong each.....Like let us keep it realy real...the thread should be if you could only have 1 dago c.d in your collection cause the new world order states so which would you pick....Big June....No..Any Sidewayz ...no....Hound foundation..no...no...no... and I think they all have some great songs....just not great albums...even flamed up..it has about 3-4 good songs...

to each his own my brotha, but i dug the hound foundation album i bumped that shit all over the place, same with the junkeez "operation gain green" and the sidewayz "komp", no matter how much love and respect i got for u 50, u cant tell me what's a classic to my ears... but u already know that, we done argued over a lot of songs and cds lol... its all in the matter of taste.. u may think its trash, but to another man its a treasure...
