Have you read the book? It's like more than a thousand pages. If they really want to do the book justice, they have to do this. One movie would not tell the story...

I haven't read the book but I watched that mini series so I know the story is crazy long. But as others have said, the last half of the story isn't that great to warrant would could be 2 additional movies out of that part of the story unless they change some stuff
