Well the 310's have a one-speaker system, whereas the 420 & 530 have 2-speaker systems: one for treble and one for bass; so its more accurate and hits the low frequency much better.

To the untrained ear, no. But to an audiophile...yes. Its the same reason why there are literally HUNDREDS of speaker companies that offer several models, from "budget" to "premium hi-fi". Most wouldn't really tell a difference between the two but someone with an ear will.

i got the beats by dre studio headphones from my aunties for my birthday since they havent given me shit in years, lol. i got a few complaints about em' but the majority of the songs sound really good, and i've enjoyed every movie i have watched on my ipod when i travel.

corrected. The more drivers headphones have,the better the sound and also the higher the price. Whatever earbuds you buy,look at how many drivers it has.
