THANK YOU FUCKING DENVER BRONCOS FOR THE WONDERFUL, SUPER ACCURATE, NON INTERCEPTION THROWING JAY MOTHERFUCKING CUTLER!!!!!:cheeky::cheeky:
If you're gonna be sarcastically thanking somebody, you should be thanking your Bears front office for not giving Cutler anything to work with. He tries to do everything himself because the rest of their offense is garbage. Who is he gonna throw to? Devin Hester? Give him some weapons. He's trying to do too much by himself. You can't make something out of nothing with no help, but that's what he was trying to do yesterday and we saw the result.

i dont wanna see Nate Davis this year, especially with Raye as OC, its not alex smiths fault that Rayes Playcalling is garbage, if Alex had a decent OC that wasnt so predictable, he would have better numbers
He STILL doesn't read defenses, he STILL doesn't go through his progressions,he STILL gets flustered, he STILL looks lost, he STILL folds under pressure, he STILL makes poor decisions (throwing deep to Crabtree with 3 defenders on him) and he STILL throws an inaccurate ball (underthrowing it on the bad decision to Crabtree).

STILL.

Alex Smith might be more dynamic and less restrained than Shaun Hill, but his fundamentals are poor and pale in comparison to Hill's. Hill >>>> Smith.

Nate Davis showed poise, pocket presence, good decision-making, accuracy, arm strength, ability to deliver any pass asked of him.. And he did all of that BETTER than both Hill and Smith combined. I know it was preseason, but the level of the opponent has nothing to do with any of that shit. You either have poise or you don't, no matter who you're playing. You either have arm strength and accuracy or you don't. You have pocket presence or you don't. Etc, etc, etc.

I dunno I really think alot of it is the play calling

Singleterry wants to grind it out which is fine, but our offense is still finding itself and we need to score points, plus with the O line banged up as it is, y not use the shotgun more?? Also the Indy game, the Tennessee game, and this last one, we get a lead and continue this boring ass predictable offense and we get shutdown, dont move the ball, and we keep teams in the game. We need to air it out more, or atleast more creativity

ALEX SMITH IS SHOWIN ME WE CAN GO FORWARD, DUDE HAS PLAYED HIS ASS OFF IN MY OPINION, HE AINT SHITTIN THE GAMES AWAY, HE HAS GOOD ACC & HIS COMP % AINT TO DAMN BAD EITHER, MORE PT UNDER HIS BELT HE SHOULD REALLY DEVELOPE INTO A GOOD QB .. I SEE ALEX SMITH BEING LIKE AARON RODGERS FOR SUM REASON
We're all entitled to our own opinions. Let's just say I disagree.

Cmon...really? You of ALL people are going to buy into good preseason play by a rookie QB? It sounds to me like you're just justifying what he did because you aren't happy with Smith and Hill.

He may have been as accurate as he was because he was playing against inferior players. Good poise? Not that hard when you have 3rd string players pass rushing. What happens when the pocket collapses in less than 5 drops? Can he really handle it? We don't know.

You're right, what I'm saying is I think he's already better than Smith and Hill, developed or not. Alex Smith has NEVER shown the qualities I spoke of - not even against 3rd stringers and bums. I want to see Nate Davis so they know if they have something to work with or if we need to take a QB early in the 2010 draft. The preseason play gave a small glimmer of hope and we need to know if it's the real deal or not. We can't wait any longer for a franchise QB.

all I'm saying is, the bears played so bad yet we couldn't capitalise on their mistakes and barely scraped through

Why not a toss/sweep/play action being called? everyone knows when we are running it and where.

Not sure if it was a QB draw or he decided to tuck & run it on 3rd and 10, but that was terrible to watch

Niners have so much growing to do. Sometimes they show glimpses of being a good team, stepping up against top teams(colt, vikings) but when it comes to the games they are supposed to win they don't play at the same level. Either way we are on the right track...

9ers oline is shitty, even more so that their best olineman is out for awhile. Maybe that's why they aren't doing any other type of run plays. But the offensive play calling is truly vanilla, and reminds me of being almost Hostler-like.

Good points... from what I saw I think Nate is going to be good and could be the franchise qb, but y'all won't know until he gets more playing time. If they're giving up on Hill then they should give Nate a shot to see how he does against 1st string defenses.
