This is the 1st of several Tape/wax Only releases (like shown in the Mega Thread of Tape Only Releases) All Bay Area only releases with a few other Classics in between (Avail. on CD).

Now im no Mark 7 (hope this lives up to your standards playah) so please feel free to criticize the good and bad. Im posting the You send it link but it may be needing to be re-uped so if some can do that Id appreciate. Im trying to select cuts form the earliest of Bay Rap releases to those that came in during the mid 90's. I know some of this stuff is dated but many of you have not heard alot of this early shit so here is your chance. I hope you enjoy this Bay Area Rap History. Yadidda!

Ill put another of them Sway and Tech tracks from the same EP for ya. Its funny to hear some of these raps cause back then they were the SHIT and with the new flows of today....lol

Is it easy to split these into seperate tracks cause I cant figure out how to do that thats why it a continuous 35min. mix....

whats up dj pimp? I was wonderin, since you've seen the Bay rap scene pretty much from jump AND have seen it behind the scenes.I was wondering if you ever get the time,or even feel like it at all, could you put us younger cats up on game? I love knowin my history as far as this Hip-Hop goes feel me? I been doin my homework on everything that came out from NY and how thangs got started but a much harder history to get a hold of is the one from right here in the Bay.I REALLY just want to know the real foundations of this shit out here from as far back as possible. The artists, the influences, the musick.I just thought I'd ask you since you must know alot of it.Anyways man let me know whats up,that would be some really tight info.Peace

oh I dont know how to do that either lol.I thought you were uploading them seperately and then mixing them together on ya comp. Its all good I was just suggesting that so you wouldnt have to worry bout tryin to mix them cuz I'm sure nobody would trip if they were seperate but the mixing came out clean.Maybe you can make a mix and give it to Mark 7 to play on 95 live or something. That'd be tight. Thanks again for the mix.
