MTV really holding the BAY down right now. I know I said earlier that Fab's "Hit Me On Twitter" wasn't the best look for the Bay, but after watching it I gotta admit the video is solid, and the song has hit potential. Happy Bay Day bitches!!! lol

Here's a post I found on another hip-hop website that I found interesting...

"This should be on MTV2 instead. Most folks in the East and South, especially those with Time Warner Cable don't have MTV Jams, or even knows what it is. I'm glad the bay is getting some shine, but just know the majority of folks in the country aren't going to see this."

Thoughts???

How can you be so sure that the South & East don't have this channel? It comes with the music package on Comcast Digital Cable. Is the Westcoast the only region that has Comcast? I doubt it.

to further delve into that. you need to have a decent digital cable package to see mtv jams. I am at my parents house right now, but at my pad all we have regular cable, so i woulda been fucked. so i see what they saying that it shoulda been on mtv2.
at the same time, bayday on any channel is HUGE! Makes me envious because i wish san diego could have a day on mtv. one day! I hope!

I enjoyed the Hammer segment. Thank God they didn't play "Pumps And A Bump" though!

And I don't remember ever seeing that "Hail Mary" video before, but damn that had to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

And they did Dru Down wrong... Having Erk do a lead in for "Can U Feel Me" and then showing a Montell Jordan video instead.

MTV Jams, a part of the MTV Digital Suite and VH1, is available on most digital cable systems, but not Dish Network or DirecTV. Time Warner Cable does not carry the network except on their former Adelphia systems, where previous contracts with MTV Networks are required to be honored, and Bright House Networks, of which Time Warner Cable formerly had a stake in. The network is also not seen in New York City on non-Cablevision systems; Time Warner is the majority cable provider for Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn/Queens. The network is also carried on some cable systems in Latin America, South America, and Mexico in a localized form.
