Nah, the common story is a thug named Joe Chill killed him. Some origins say they were killed by a man who turned into The Joker later on, as well.
All of them have Bruce's Parents dying when he is a little boy of around 5, so the theater may not serve any purpose other than fan service to people who know the lore behind Batman's origins.
The Flying Grayson's poster itself could be just fan service, too.
Just to reiterate, though, Black Mask is an actual character in the game.

Joe Chill killed Bruce's parents and I believe the mob killed the Graysons.
Dick Grayson became Robin then went on to be Nightwing and is now a Batman, Jason Todd was the second Robin. Joker killed with a crowbar and he later came back as the Red Hood. Tim Drake the third Robin became Red Robin and Bruce's son Damien Wayne is the current Robin and is Dick's sidekick.

Anybody can be right, in essence. The continuity of some Batman titles don't lend themselves over to other stories.
There's a Batman title called Batman: Lovers and Madmen that has Joker moonlighting as a criminal known as the Red Hood in the 60's before he becomes the pale skinned madman(actually, the title itslef is a joker origin and he becomes Joker when he's in Red Hood costume), and there's also a story that states Red Hood was Jason Todd, as evident in the Red Hood movie that came out last year. That Jason Todd angle picks up where "A Death in the Family" leaves off, eventually ending with Batman discovering his identity. I actually mistakenly said Tim Drake was the one that died, so I apologize.
