How does it work?.....Cane is the champion right? So, someone is supposed to post a song up challenging him and then he gets to listen to it and respond to it?
And how are you supposed to lay down a diss record on someone you have never seen, heard of, spoke to or listened to before?? In my opinion The Champ would already have the advantage since he gets to marinate on your diss record for a day or 2. I would think they would have to use some pretty straight forward punchlines that could be used on anyone since all they know about Mistah Cane is that his name is Mistah Cane...Therefore, save some time and do this at the Siccness BBQ for those that wanna be involved and make it a live freestyle battle. Those who are worthy of diss records r those who we actually know something about so we can confirm the dope punchlines we're hearing. Then its worth listening to.

Its a diss battle......just a quick 16 if you like.....these battles are different from anyother battles. Tracks are recorded then uploaded for everyone on siccness to download and listen...then they vote!
I'm trying to get judges at the moment...but we might run it like the last one.

Siccness Battles
Description: These are not and never have been FREESTYLE BATTLES, if thats what your looking for look elsewhere. These are not and never have been ACCAPELLA BATTLES, if thats what your looking for look elsewhere. What these are is DISS BATTLES, yes you are dissing someone you may know nothing about, you must research and use tactics to obtain information about the individual you are against. The battles are posted at the same time, they are handed in to an unbiased judge (whether or not they are on the panel or not can be open for discussion). The champ doesn't get to marinate on the disses and then create their own. The competitors find out who they are battling by round robin or luck of the hat and then record their disses within a deadline and then they are posted and people vote.

Deadline to record diss and get it to assigned judge - 8-25-06 By 12pm
Disses to be posted on 8-25-06 @6pm
Only people with 100 or more posts may vote, in order to vote you must post a reason why you are choosing to vote for the person you voted for.
Cut-off for voting is 8-27-06 @4pm
Votes tallied etc. and winner posted
We could have everybody who wants to enter setup in different brackets etc. (when it was at it's best there was 2 seperate battles happening)
FYI: I don't need to do these battles and I ain't really with all the bickering and whining that I always get drug into when we have them. The reason I do it is strictly because it's competitive and fun and it brings excitement to an other wise predictable board. Powers that be do what you will with this info.
A-wolf's idea was a good one as well, hopefully people are reading and maybe it can happen.
