I think the market will change in a few years and grow tired of hearing the same bs hook with an old school beat or mix with mediocre hop scotch lyrics and the traditional way of thinking will change but this wont happen instantly and it will take hard work, If you noticed DRF started working towards a female market making songs like "the chola" and singing hooks n shit like that, thats when the sales started going up more, because in reality females are the ones that buy cds the most, and dudes is the ones usually burning shit.
The main thing latinas want is to shake there ass to something look at reggeton how it allready blew up because of the dancing beats now you see it on TV specially in the spanish channels they loving that shit even older mexican ladies. Another technique to catch the female audience is to get into there heart and there everyday struggle as Latinas in todays world, but with all this being said there has to be some good advertising and marketing for it to be heard, once yet get the female audence the rest will come, specially knowing how foos get all pussy wopped once they hit that shit not every foo but the percentige is hella high even for those that dont wanna admit it.
If this was the early 90s and burners werent even invented yet northern cal rap would off allready beenon mainstream bumping in radio stations and selling real good, I remember there was a time where everyone had to get original cds for there cd collection now all you see in foos cd folders is burned sharpie written cds with diffrent colors, its to the point where u make vatos buy it because all else has failed for them to borrow your shit.

None of you know this......but, Davina did a couple of traxs for this label last year and some radio heads went CRAZY over it. It is not so much norte music but more "marketable to the masses music" its hard to describe it cause it ain't sell out at all but it's not like alot of the music on her album. Anyway for what it's worth the program director said and I quote " this song will blow up in my market" However, me and my 9 station connection are all older white men. We are "AFRAID" of this look. Now he did not come out and say NORTE he said that there was a "NEAR" riot between the norte and surenos at the fair grounds somewhere in norcal at a fairground and they lost there hookup over a lil rob show. So with that they did not want to fuck with any indie artist who might have affiliations. Now I know how he was acting when the song was playing and then how he did a 180 when he saw her myspace page. This was before she and Big Tone even dropped LAST LAUGH. So her page looked a little different. It sucks but thats what this industry is. Guys I have heard Davina do alot of music and right now I don't know too many females that can fade her. Shit, producers and engineers love her talent.......but they not feeling the whole norte way. If Sav it Out makes the decision to put Davina out without all the red and 1's and 4's I gaurantee she explodes on more of a national level! She is that good guys I don't know if you guys really know how good she really is! Now some people may call that a sell out. Some may not.
