they made it quite clear when i got hired few years ago that it is a SALES position. now i am at the point where i help hire people and we let them know from the start that it is a sales position they are applying to.
thing is, i worked for wells fargo before they were little fucking salesmen positions.

so when i thought about going back, i got hit with that sales shit and i was like fuck this shit..i could do loans if that was the case and make more scrill...i understand the importance of bieng up on your banking institutions programs and things they offer and telling the customer when it seems like the right moment but if im depositing money i dont wanna get hit with all type of bullshit, and ive had to set them straight before with yapping too much.

that was in college tho....wont catch me workin at no fuckin bank

i cant fade dressing up for work...that slacks shirt and tie shit used to kill me

thats cool you let them know. theres still banks out there that aint bigf on salesmanship...a tellers just a teller...i kinda appreciate that more.

i dont wanna know shit about services unless its something i need, you know? if its on topic..

i went to a interview for wells and this bitch....picks up a notepad from her desk and goes, "sell this to me"

i looked at her like she had lost her god damn mind

lol @ selling someone something they already are using and own
stupid ass bitch you know why you need the notepad. stop frontin.

you dont need a fucking salesman to sell notepads. thats like mcdonalds cashiers bieng salesmen about a quarter pounder.

aint no fuckin instruction booklet for quarter pounders nor notebooks..you already know what it is

Go join a credit union instead of a bank.

A credit union is a not-for-profit co-operative financial institution that is owned and controlled by its members, through the election of a volunteer Board of Directors elected from the membership itself. Only a member of a credit union may deposit money with the credit union, or borrow money from it.

A credit union differs from a traditional financial institution (banks, savings and loan, etc.) in that the members who have accounts in the credit union are the credit union's owners. A credit union is a co-operative institution, with policies governing interest rates and other matters set to benefit the interests of the membership as a whole. As such, credit unions have historically marketed themselves as providing superior member service and being committed to helping members improve their financial health. Credit unions typically pay higher dividend (interest) rates on shares (deposits) and charge lower interest on loans than banks.[1]. Credit union revenues (from loans and investments) do, however, need to exceed operating expenses and dividends (interest paid on deposits) in order to maintain capital and solvency. The lowered profitability of credit unions relative to banks is indicative of credit unions' focus on serving members, whereas banks must be concerned with maximizing profits in order to enhance stock performance.

i work at wells and lets just say if i didnt work there i wouldnt bank there...
yeah i worked at b of a too..not in no dinky branch either.

lots of errors happen and sometimes they get corrected before you even notice it, or sometimes it takes a little in depth research for it to get corrected.

if its most likely in your favor, then they may credit your account before hand and then figure out the problem, that way you dont have to wait for your money.

my entire family worked for b of a at some point in their life, and right now im enjoying the benefits of a free prima account.

yee.

..is full of shit.
so i'm at my girls house last night. her aunt comes over and she says, "hey, b of a saysmy check bounced, but i know i had money in my account." her aunt has a credit card AND bank account thru b of a. so we call b of a, they was like, "sorry its an accounting error." and she stayed quiet like we were gonna hang up. long story short, b of a cashed her aunts check. WTF! lol
I've heard alot of horror stories about b of a and wells fargo
navy federal credit union for life.
my boy had that happen at Washington Mutual. They took $300 from his account without him finding out (he doesn't check that shit religiously)....

now he goes through wells fargo....

banks are just fucking stupid anyway...if i had a fucking vault of my own, i wouldn't use a bank...it's not like 1.2% interest does shit...lol....
