Look..
Here's my deal on this whole bandwagon situation that Tony has put himself in..
I've been on this site since the beginning. I've come across a gang of jackasses who have come and gone over the years. I remember certain things that some of these people stressed. Tony's love for the Saints is one of the things I remember very clearly. He was all about the New Orleans Saints, not just Aaron Brooks. He stuck up for the whole team. From the running game to the receiving core to the defense.. All of which led me to believe he was a true Saints fan for some reason or another. Then, they have a shitty ass season and the QB leaves, now all of a sudden he becomes a Raider fan out of the blue.. Claiming he follows Aaron Brooks wherever he may go and blah blah. Looks to me he is just running from a horrible team, trying to jump ship to a slightly better team with better players and his beloved Aaron Brooks is his excuse to justify his lack of loyalty to a team he supposedly supported for years..
All in all I think he is a phony. A fraud. A fake. A disgrace to any true fan of any team.
I understand being a fan of a certain player. But Aaron Brooks? Of all people, Aaron Brooks. Come on. Even if Aaron Brooks is truly his favorite player, it still doesn't justify the bandwagon hopping he's shown us all in the past couple months. Why not root for that particular player to do well? You don't have to switch your whole team simply because a certain individual is playing elsewhere. I mean shit, Randy Moss is my favorite receiver in the NFL, but I'm far from a Raider fan. Peyton Manning is my favorite QB, I am not a Colts fan. LaDainian Tomlinson is my favorite RB, but I am not a Chargers fan. Barry Sanders is my favorite RB all time, but I am not and never was a fan of the Lions. I root for the Niners. Jeff Garcia is from my hometown, I wish him the best of luck and hope for him to do well, but unless he plays for the Niners I am not a fan of his team. That's the way it is. I am a true fan of a team, and that will not change. That's how most of us feel, and that's why people are calling Tony a bandwagoner and a trader.
By your definition up there, you seem to have placed yourself outside of the "bandwagon" party.. But most people have their own perception of a bandwagoner (just like the dude who wrote the one you posted), and you fit the discription.
