Not necessarily......dont get me wrong, I dont think they will make it to the championship game but from a realistic persective if you are from the SEC or the Big 12, you can lose a game early and still play for the title very easily because those conferences are strong enough and get that much respect that it will enable a team that loses early like Texas or K-State to still have a chance to play for the title because if they go undeafeated for the rest of the year, they would of beat enough high quality teams in conference to earn it...not to mention the conference championship game....same thing can be said for a team like Tennessee, LSU or Georgia (I know Tenn and LSU) havent lost yet but if they lose within the next week or 2 and then dont lose for the rest of the season they can easily be considered for the title....its happened a few times since the BCS has came about.....Nebraska didnt even make it to the Big 12 title game one year but they played for the national championship.
Speaking on K-State though.....even with Roberson healthy the full year, I think they would of struggled alot, they would of beat Marshell but would of lost a game or 2 in the Big 12 and then lost to OU in the Big 12 championship....K-State's defense is really suspect this year, losing Newman was a big loss for them, I think he was the 5th pick in the draft this last year.
To ole boy talking that USC shit.....I understand where you coming from homie, but I guess you aint gonna see the big picture until the bowl games at the end of the year, I think that USC will not lose for the rest of the year because the pac 10 is so fuckin whack that they wont have any problem winning games in that conference and there non-conference schedule didnt feature any really prominent teams either and dont say a damn thang about Auburn, they shouldnt of been ranked period so that win dont count just like it wont do them any good on the schedule strength once the BCS comes out cuz Auburn aint gonna be graded high at all......so I am gonna leave you alone till bowl time comes around but you for sure gonna hear my mouth if USC hooks up with a real school from the SEC or the Big 12 and gets dusted. .....one more thing, dont you remember who gave yall one of your losses last year?
Grim,you can't lose a non-conference game to Marshall @home(quality off opponent) and make it to the Championship game.That will kill their BCS Points,and unless everyone in the country loses twice,Czar's boo-boo pick will be on the outside lookin in.

this year you could homie, the Mac has 3 teams in the top 25, had numerous upsets already, so the Mac is going to be graded hella high, almost like a regular conference, Marshall is probably gonna be in the top 20 at the end of the year as well....I aint tryin to defend K-State or Marshall but just speaking in general, it wasnt that big of a loss for K-State
