Hit The Country Club to pick up ML. We was talking about going to the Crest to pick him up.

Now the ending to the Intro on Miami's double disc makes sense..... lol

Damn I know this thread hasn't been brought up in 2 years but I was just wondering what some of the lyrics mean... And I agree with everyone that this song is a classic!

**Yorker sidin’, you know how the song goes
In the back, sippin’ purple chongos**

Yorker sidin? Purple chongos?

**Acid in my bottle so I gotta get some more**

Acid in the bottle?

**Back to the Telly, I gotta get some new cock**

Gotta get new cock? What?

Sidin in the New Yorker...I can't remember what a purple chango was, but I know I got fucked up and threw up in gym class on em one time.

**Acid in my bottle so I gotta get some more**

Got me there..i always thought it said "absent in my bottle"........LOL

**Back to the Telly, I gotta get some new cock**

Gotta get new cock? What?

I'd assume that "acid in the bottle" means the bottle is damn near empty and it's just the last swig of saliva that's always left. I dunno though, just my guess.

i'll be honest the part that has always bugged me about thissong is "I got the black broad and you get the white one". Because I was a bigot back when I heard it. I'm cool now, the song slumps.

Man I was 14 when I first heard that song. I was just bumpin that saturday on my way to the movies man. I picked up that Jay Tee Playa Pack and had all the hits crackin. Like homie said most people don't know that you had more albums than just that one. I had to school them on bay music. I remember when rump shaker came out and had them same horns I was like "What the fuck is that shit? A wack ass remix?" Anyway Classic shit for real. Favorite song though. "The Throw." "Day to day basis" is a a close second.

speak on the video Jay Tee

loved that shit... if I remember correctly, that video was 10+ years ahead of it's time... MTV must have tripped to see two real motherfuckers (as opposed to some wannabes) doing their thang...

I could hear the whole thing as I read those.....I feel like thumper now.....lol.

First time I heard it was on the radio (Z100 in Portland) in like '92....I had just got my license and was coming home from work to get showered and hit the party spot....song had me so hyped I was trying to explain it to everyone that night. Even back then I knew it was destined to be a classic. Been a N2Deep listener ever since.

Never get tired of "Back to the Hotel"....thanks for posting up the lyrics...man I had it all fucked up...hahaha =P

I was born in Memphis, TN and if you know anything about the racist South you'll know why I had those thoughts, back then you could get hung for looking at a white girl.
