my daughter started collecting Yugioh cards when she was like 5 maybe. a couple years later she got into Hollywood Zombies cards. then quickly into Wacky Packages. then she started fuckin with the original 80's packs of Garbage Pail Kids. she got pretty deep in that one and gained a respect for the GPK's that us 80's babies had/have. she damn near 13 now and dont collect cards but she still has all them cards throught the years in her card binders. and shes always down to stop ina comic shop to see if they have any 80's GPK's.

i think Topps did all those mentioned except Yugioh who Upper Deck brang to America. them cats aint leavin a game that has a big market.
Man I worked for McDonalds one summer when I was 16 and I stole hella beanie babys thinking I could hold on to them and sell them for hella money! lol

My brother use to collect pogs and play that shit at this one spot in Vallejo I think and we found out the dude that owned it was a bungler

It's a pretty well known fact most baseball and football cards from the mid-80's through the 90's were so over produced that its pretty hard to imagine they will ever be worth anything (with a couple exceptions). We actually used baseball cards as an example a lot in my MBA econ class of what not to do, as the sports card industry really shot itself in he foot and never totally recovered. When i was a kid, I thought my 89 Upperdeck Griffey, Jr card was going to buy me a car or home one day, lol.

Kids nowadays make me want to slap the shit out of them. I see kids getting mad because they can't play games on their parent's phones and playing with ipads. I have friends with kids that look at them crazy when they tell them to go play outside, go ride their bikes, I used to love that shit. So glad I don't have kids right now lol

Yea they are still around but have been shrunk down to normal card size. Bowman has some of the more valuable cards these days because thats where the "true" rookie cards are.

yeah mortal kombat and killer instinct were a pretty big deal for violent games.. little did they know huh.......

I lived in Michigan first eight years of my life where basketball cards reigned supreme. I remember buying three Fleer packs and getting two Shaq Rookie Cards! (Just looked em up no wonder they're only worth $17.00 lol)

I mainly fucked with upperdeck though and I actually bought a briefcase for a dollar to trade cards in. Still have it in real good condition besides my pen marks on the folder flaps (1990 upperdeck, 1993 skybox lol)
