people just don't seem to understand, artists like B-Legit don't just make albums for the Bay Area, B is one of our Bay Bosses, which means he has fans all over the country and all over the world, so he makes music that will appeal not only to the Bay, but to his fans in other areas as well, namely the South, MidWest and NorthWest.

This is one of the key problems with the Bay Area, fans are very selfish, we just want our artists to make only Bay Area music all the time and never expand and never try to accomplish bigger things, but all this does in the long run is hold back the artist and hold the Bay back as a whole because we aren't willing to try new things and try to sell our product to other consumers from other areas.

"Block Movement" like Daddy Rich said, was a very well rounded album, but for those of you who hunger for that Mobb shit, this "Throwblock Muzic" album is the one for you. I have heard this album, and it's got that slap that you want. Then next year, "Block Business" will drop and slap everybody across the face even harder.

im not really feeling bay artists doing southern style tracks, etc etc....You dont see south, east coast artists trying to appeal to us. B-La got where he was at for a reason, I understand wanting to make a univeral album, one that everyone can enjoy, but i think it can be done in a way that is still Bay, and not taking these Southern style beats and artists and trying to make it universal that way........thats just my opinion of it as a consumer.....i dont see nas or jay z or ugk etc etc getting mista fab and getting a rick rock beat and making a hyphy track to appeal to us, why should our Bay Powerhouses be doing the same? I honestly didnt like the tracks where 40 did that on my ghetto report card........but to each their own, and this is just my pennies

basicly its like this the south took our sound back in the day if u listen to old school too short albums u will see alot of early souther artists use the same format but it was cool cuz they knew where they heard it first and jay z and nas and the east have definitely took from our west coast prodution back in the day east coast music was more simple drum kicks with some samples and not really musical more of an underground raw sound but if u remember all of the sudden east coast rappers started puttin funk in the music heavy bass and almost rnb type beats with people singing hooks a definite style that started out west so in a scence everyone has took a lil from each region i personally think south music is dope so y wouldnt people out here do a lil sumthin like that sound if thats what they like just my few pennies
