3D sucks and is still just a gimmick like it has been for the past 50+ years in cinema. It seems to come and go once every ten years or so and is usually aimed at kids movies for the obvious reasons.

By the way I know that 3D now is different then 3D in the past and it's only slightly less terrible then it was back in the day. But hey, if you want to pay $3-5 more per ticket for it more power to you.

See i disagree and people i know like it also. Thats cool if you dont but seems like some of yall on here are way to critical of shit and and dont give movies a fair chance before you just write movies off.

Just got back from watchin this in 3D. After I heard how much they spent on this movie and special effects, I went in with high expectations...and I can honesltly say that this movie delivers and has the best visuals I've ever seen.

The story was nothing special but it was still good enough to keep me interested through the whole 2.5+ hours. I wouldn't say this is the BEST movie but I would definitely recommend it to any movie fan with an open mind.

I was talking about 3D in general seeing the part of your post where you talked about the 3D aspect of the movie was also a blanket statement. I haven't seen Avatar yet and the 3D is supposed to be on some "next level" shit even though a few people I know who have seen it (and liked it) said the 3D wasn't really anything out of the norm. Most the people I know in general don't like 3D so I guess it's who you talk to about it.

Why wouldn't I be critical of a movie? That's a silly statement. Some people like movies because of great acting/story/cinematograhpy/etc while some go for 'splosions and huge CGI robots. That's cool and there is more then enough room for both but I don't see why I should bite my tongue if I don't like what most of the mainstream audience seems to like as I would hope someone wouldn't theirs if they didn't like a "art house" movie as long as both could give valid reasons to why they didn't other then "thizz movie fuckinn suckz, only fagz would lyk dis shit!"

I know you were talking bout 3d and thats bs, final Destination which had a horrible storyline that was basically just a carbon copy of the first 3 was a hell of a lot more watchable cuz of the 3d. I am very critical of movies myself and some of yall on here are way worse which is pretty bad. Seems to me just cuz movies are American made yall sometimes just rip into them when they are decent movies.

What in the fuck are you talking about man? lol

You just more or less proved my point with your first sentence that 3D is a gimmick (one that you just happen to like, nothing wrong with that).

My top 10 of 2009

1. Moon
2. Fantastic Mr. Fox
3. The Brothers Bloom
4. Sin Nombre
5. Up
6. The Hurt Locker
7. District 9
8. The Informant!
9. Coraline
10. World's Greatest Dad

Yeah, look it all those foreign films. Wow, I really hate American cinema a lot.
