Yeah I know homie.. I'm just starting to work with my crew, 'Union Certified Gang' (or 'Tha Union') and we'll be putting some shit together real soon. Right now I'm just fucking around.. My sound quality isn't where I want it to be (not good enough to put out there) so I'm just sharing with my Siccness folks and some others for now. I will promote when I get on better equipment (it's already in the works)..

If I use anything I've already recorded, it will be re-recorded with better quality when I decide to actually put myself out there.

This isn't the Sports forum homie, I don't use cop-out excuses like that. Thanks for the points, I'll definately take them into consideration. Of course, these are just fuck-around tracks.. I'd give it my all if I wind up getting on professional quality equipment.

Thanks for the feed.
yeah, I was just fucking with you about the 9ers shit. your writtens are raw, but writing isn't the only aspect of rap as you already know

What are you talking about? The hook has more of a semi-singing sound to it.
it just seemed like it ran from the verse into the hook to me, the only difference i saw was the repitition and the beat change.
That is only to make it sound like there's more going on. I can do without those to be honest.
I believe it gives more life to lyrics and what you're saying. to each his own tho...

I think you just have a different preference in terms of delivery. In no way did it sound like he was reading off a paper. He just has a more rugged style than you want him to. You wouldn't happen to like Mistah FAB would you? Because judging by your advice, it sounds like you want FATAL to sound more like that clown.
I do like Mistah Fab actually. I just wish that fab didn't dumb his shit down to make crossover bay hits. I'm not telling Fatal to sound more like Fab (or anyone for that matter) but just to loosen up more and put as much effort as he does in his delivery as he does his lyrics. Some people have a perfect balance of delivery with lyrics, such as Mos Def, Black Thought, Jay-Z, Andre 3000, etc... I'm not telling him to be all rah rah like Redman and Luda, I'm not telling him to change to a style rapper like Keak and Turf Talk, be yourself, but show who you are....let your personality out on your music.

Criticism is good, but this is false. The hook sounds nothing like the verse. It sounds more stretched, his tone changes and the delivery is different from the verses. There is also more emphasis on the hook as a whole. I have no clue what you're listening to homie.

LMAO

Mos Def is ass. Jay-Z? His delivery and voice are trash. Andre 3000 got a nice delivery, but his lyrics are garbage.

You're not gonna change my mind.

Just like I can't see how in the fuck you can think ICP is any good.

LOL.

I like Andre 3000, but he is no lyricist by any means. He's entertaining and I know you don't have to have sick ass rhymes to be good, but he still doesn't fit the description.

By the way, you can't try to prove he has "top-notch" lyrics by giving one song as an example. Peep some Outkast albums (I have them all, so don't act like I need to be schooled down) and you'll see the bigger picture. He's good and I like listening, but he is far from a "perfect blend of lyrics and delivery."

i got all them hos too cuzzo....didnt say he was perfect...i said top notch....top notch doesnt neccessarily = complex...he stays on topic and is good at gettin you to feel what hes sayin if you actually pay attention to his lyrics (not sayin you dont)...as far as ICP, Twiztid and T-Pain...they entertain me and i enjoy listening to em...what can i say? mike jones got shitted on by chamillionaire but i enjoyed mike jones diss more than alot of chams(beat and flow got me hooked)..even though lyrically cham was all over him (and dispite ''u got wrecked'' murked all jones efforts, even the diss in mention)
