i respect Snoop for his ability to stay relevant in the mainstream...cuz i dont care what anybody thinks...NOBODY in the game is as well known as Snoop except for maybe Eminem...your grandmomma knows Snoop Dogg...
as far as his lyrics go...supposedly most of Doggystyle was freestyles which means that he was a great freestyler and maybe he just lost his fire to do that shit and never really got too good at writing lyrics(its well known that DOC wrote a lot of the early Death Row shit)
either way i dont see why the hate on Snoop unless youre one of those Death Row die hards

Kokane is 50 million times more talented on the mic than Snoop. I never paid any amount of money on a Snoop CD. I never picked up Doggystyle. The only reason Snoop is popular is because Dre produced his first CD. I can say that Doggystyle was a okay CD but eveything else Snoop has put out is garbage. I like Snoop, he is good in movies and he is fucking amusing. I dont think he can rap worth a fuck, but that is my opinion. Kokane is a talented artist and I hope he hooks back up w/his cousin Big Hutch aka Cold 187um. Koke.....make another Funk Upon A Rhyme.
Mr. Kane is Sic ona whole different level than Snoop though. Snoop is helpin keep eyes on tha West. Snoop introduced Kane, eastsidaz and alotta cats to the rest of tha country.
